More than 2 weeks of using Note III already. I have to say, it's the BEST Android phone ever.

The S-Pen now is truly amazing. I actually LOVE taking 'notes' or just doodling on it now. Fantastic device! It writes even somewhat better than a rollerball pen on my paper notebook. Only thing it can't rival is my fountain pen.

And it's been like 1 week since I got the S View cover case. Best case, ever. I have not touched neither the power button nor the home button ever since then. And it's just perfect for that quick glance at a message.

Looking forward to 1 year of using this Note III, and then it's Note IV.

In regards to the purple smeared stain on my screen, the stain was spreading wider within a day. I brought it to Samsung Service Centre in One Utama and upon checking the technician said that the LED is cracked inside. I didn't see any visible crack on the screen and I don't think it is caused by any fall. Apparently, if I leave it, the stain will spread and eventually the screen will go dead. According to the them, I must have pressed the screen hard till the LED cracked inside    Seriously!!!!

Since the screen is not under warranty, I have to fork out my own money RM680 to pay for the damage... I tried to argue it doesn't make sense for a new device to be so flimsy and as a user of Note 1, Note 2, Tab 7.7 and Note 10.1, I know the quality is not that bad. But, they can't do anything.

I had no choice but to agree to change the screen using my own money. The device can be collected after 3 hours. So, I will be going back to collect my device later.

Anyway, advice to all who prefer to use the phone naked, please spend a bit of money to buy a case such as otterbox. As for me, I am going to sew a pouch with thick sponge to protect my phone... 

omg thats sad to hear, the warranty does not cover the screen? it should be a defect issit?

There is no physical damage on the phone and they did not mention there was any. Since, I needed the phone very urgently, I didn't want to argue much as I know that these technician and customer service are just workers who does what is stated in their SOP.

After collecting my phone later, I am going to write to Consumer Rights and Samsung Malaysia about my experience and let them deal with it.

Hi guys, I just got my note 3 blk few days ago. I'm looking for a 3rd party casing now coz don't want to spend over rm150 on the original casing.

So far I encounter
1) rock case
2) bilkin
3) spigen

I prefer those flip cover so I won't accidentally press on the home button, but spigen hybrid neo is too hard to resist! Anyone here use the hybrid neo now? How is it working?

Just tried again with battery and everything removed
The shake sound can be heard even when flipping the phone slowly.

If it is the camera module I hope they replace the whole module

Since it is no mounted properly previously, shaking can easily harm the focusing system.

So you claimed warranty for your nexus? How long to resolve the matter? or they give you a new unit?
