Design and Build Quality
The material of the S View cover is more or less the same as the Note 3 back cover, however it is much more softer compared to my white Note 3 back cover. Maybe it is due to the PU leather but the texture is really good. The window is covered by a plastic layer, but mind you, the plastic is not flimsy (compared to S4's S View cover) and it is quite hard (it is not a Gorilla Glass, so it still can be scratched).

The front cover close fitly and it won't be like half hanging like the S4 S View cover. The basic function is closing the cover will put your device on sleep and open it will wake your device. At the front, you will have the branding of "Galaxy Note 3" engraved at the bottom part, while at the back, the "Samsung" branding is engraved just below the camera (cap ayam casing will have these 2 branding printed instead of engraved). Good news is there is no longer the 4G mark at the back, and the casing is slightly higher than the camera (no more camera protruding issue), so it can sit flat with the back on the table without worry your camera lens will be scratched. At the side of the casing, there is a + and - sign (engraved as well) to remind you where is the volume button.You can press directly on it with good tactical feedback.

Music
From the S View, you not only play / pause the music, you can even get a larger widget and browse the playlist directly on the S View without opening the flip

Camera
You can capture image directly from the S View window, but it will be in the 1:1 ratio.  Image size is 3096x3096 and about 3MB per picture. Basically you can only toggle flash on or off and view the captured image. Touch focus is available too.

Picture captured will not saved in the usual Camera folder, but it will be saved in a separate folder, named "Cover Camera". So take note if you wanted to retrieve the picture you captured. This is a sample of picture I captured using the S View camera.

Notification
You can check your notification directly on the window, but currently you are only limited to missed call and SMS. Good thing is you can read your SMS directly at the window window opening the cover      You can also answer any call through the window
