flashing is technical and not art, so luck is not the reason to fail.. single mistake will brick your phone... most of the flashy can be said expert and flashing for them is like makan kacang... damn easy...

Hi all, I'm a Galaxy S3 user and just yesterday I accidentally dropped my phone. It hit a rough asphalt surface and now the screen's cracked. Does anyone know the estimated cost to fix it? And any shop nearby KLCC which is trustworthy? Thanks.

Using wanam 4.3

First impression is laggy.
There is a persistent one second delay when I press the Setting from the notification shade. Annoying similar to the 4.2 leak.

Other than that looks similar to the 4.2 leak. Will continue use for awhile before give more comments.

How about Omega rom? Should we wait for them to release 4.3-based custom ROM since I see that they have more regular updates compared to wanam

Any comments for the leaked 4.3?

last time i temporary resolved it by using nova launcher..

after a while, jump back 4.1.2 (xperia rom) then now testing aosp slimbean 4.3.1

i am using nova. same only the delay is not only for the settings. many apps also like that.

compare 4.3 and current official 4.1, there are good improvement. transparent status bar is very nice.
quick settings is very useful. lock screen widget is a good addition (dashclock is one of the most useful lockscreen widget)

wanam xposed framework is very awesome. features like long press volume skip track, long press volume up to on flash light at lockscreen, am/pm size, nfc behavior, status bar and quick settings themes customization, remove sound warning, enable camera after low battery warning, and many many more. wanam should deserve a nobel prize for samsung touch wiz rom. this is even better than what jKay did last time.


but i notice there are short delays happening in many places. its not considered lag, the animations are smooth,
its just that things tend to take longer to load. enough for me to feel the delay. simple things like opening whatsapp, smooth opening animation, after that i stare at a blank screen for 0.5-1 seconds like that only the messages appear. its as if the low memory killer is too aggressive. especially the settings. it takes the longest to load. pressing back and reloading it again, it loads fast, but switch to other app for awhile, and try opening settings again, the 1 seconds delay returns. the task manager shows i have 100MB free ram, it's using 700+ out of 800MB ram. should be more than enough. on fresh boot ram usage is 500MB. (this is after freezing 50+ samsung bloatware), even after i installed wanam xposed framework, the delays are still there.

TLDR: something wrong with low memory killer, it kills background apps too aggresively causing long delays when opening apps again. see the first time opening settings & phone app, these delay happens to whatsapp as well


one more complain is the lock screen widget. 4.2 above suppose to have swipe from right edge to launch camera. but this is not present in leak touch wiz 4.3. very weird. there is no option to enable it in the settings. i remember in 4.2 leak, there is such option.


the delay issue is way too annoying for me to handle since i never experience that kind of delay on 4.2 aosp custom roms. despite wanam xposed being so awesome, some custom aosp feature are not available. like the notification led customization, nav bar and nav ring short cuts.

I flashed using 3..0.9 & 3.0.7 same... perhaps try 3.0.4. But should i unroot first cuz superuser alreqdy installed, just the device cant detect the root... sigh.. no root no restore data fr titamium.. my nba and fifa data..

Besides that, any other issue? Im using 4.3 leak stock. Got one issue which one of our friend mentioned at previous few page.. when the phn is unlock, press unlock button, it will lag like few secs before we swipe to unlock.. the frequency increase after 1 day using.

sure laggy when using ripple effect. change to no effect is slightly faster.

anway i already restore to previous rom. cant stand the delay keep happening.
i did not underclock when testing the leak. heck even slimbean underclock to 1GHz is more consistently fast then it.
well a leak is a leak, hopefully the final official version will be better.

i see sammobile posted 4.3 firmware for s3 today. same build but for other place. it is official or still leak?

Edit: sorry.. its not sammobile, it is samsung update.. so, it is still the leak version.
