Guys..off topic question..how do we polish the s3 back cover to get the back the shine? Been too long in the silicon casing,when take out i can see the back cover is dull and got few white/grey spots. Clean it up with glass cleaner, soap and water, alcohol solutions, all doesnt work..tested with toothpaste also doesnt take out the white spot...any other idea?

Fortunately, I have nandroid backup and I can still go back to the old ROM. I tried copying the titanium backup into a folder in my pc, flash new ROM, put back all the files into my S3's titanium folder. But still it cannot find apps to restore. Am I doing sth wrong here?

Guys, I've got the I9300XXUGMK6 official OTA update from samsung. But I've lost my ripple effect lock screenwriter pattern lock after updating to 4.3. Is it supposed to not have the ripple effect or am I having some problems with the update? How do I get it back it it's some problem with the update?

Not sure bro, but mine is a uk unlocked set. Do you mean that they changed it to only have ripple effect on standard lock screen without any security?

I think that's me asking. By copying to SD card you mean external SD? What is I do not have an external and copy the backed up TB to my PC? I still need to copy back to the same location, right?

it is freakin smooth right now. very high consistent smooth experience.

in temasek v18 i tried yesterday, i get camera error every 5 consecutive shot i take.
duno why, never had such issue in cm. so i stick to cm.
most probably wont try temasek anymore, unsubscribe from his thread already.

but definitely notice a difference. in kitkat, so many apps can be kept in ram.
meaning when launching it again, way less loading time.

camera, dialer, whatsapp, settings, browser. all when launch again it opens very quickly.
even my file manager i open once in the morning, when night time after using so much apps, fb and google+,
when i open file manager again, it pops up instantly still remember the directory i'm at. really amazing.

when using samsung touch wiz 4.3 wanam, i got so frustrated.
opening whatsapp takes so long, it always get killed. seems no more than 2/3 apps can be kept in memory.
even opening settings, it always load as if its loading for the first time. got 1 second delay before it appear.

Adui, I know how to see the ram usage la.
What I mean is ram usage always change. It is not constant.

On any rom ram usage is in settings, apps, swipe to the running apps tab, ram usage at the bottom.

Stock rom also like that. Just that they add the bar to the task manager.

Roms like temasek and slimbean cn enable it to be at the recent list too.
