I think Samsung will make another announcement saying that S3 will skip 4.3 for now due to a lot of bugs and the team are focusing on KitKat update and expect to be release on March/April 2014, damn you Samsung.

Some comment on CM10.2 Temasek ROM, everything seems ok but the camera app got some jerky defect. Battery life got improve compare to stock ROM at least can last me one whole day for normal use.

last time you guys saying 4.3 better than 4.2 (in reality no noticeable difference for end user also)

now 4.4 do have quite a few noticeable difference than 4.3. and you say not much difference  rclxub.gif

new things i notice in 4.4
~after screenshot, there is an extra 'trash' button for deleting it in notification. (touch wiz has this, but first time for aosp)
~no longer lag in aosp browser and camera, 4.4 camera has the slickest transition animation of all time
~photosphere rendering is much faster, finish stitching early by 20 seconds or more.
~much more apps are kept in ram, just go to settings>apps>running> in cache, have a long list, faster loading time
~nice transparency effect, slimbean has transparent status&nav bar, but it instantly blink to black, but in 4.4 it slowly fade to black when leave home screen
~kitkat white theme is quite refreshing. but of course you can install themes in 4.3 as well, but the theme is not complete in lockscreen
~temasek implement non intrusive in coming call screen, which is cool, not present in 4.3
~new dialer, i find it more user friendly than the old one.
ya the list is not long. but enough for me leave slimbean 4.2 -> 4.4

Bro...the known issues that listed as below in Temasek thread still valid from your observation?
- Lockscreen sound distorts music playing. Turn lockscreen sound as a workaround.
- Camera not fully stable
- Lockscreen shorcuts may cause FC to minority users.

i listen to music everyday using ttpod, never distort or anything when i lock/unlock

camera working fine. but it force close once a awhile. i only use the camera for photosphere.
for normal point and shoot i use camera HDR plus
i have 8 lockscreen shortcut and they never FC before on me.

in temasek thread, some people say cant send sms problem, and blank screen when incoming call.
i never encounter this even once. guess i'm lucky. maybe those bugs caused by custom kernel.
i just use the default kernel that comes with the rom.
