wow all the motorised sets
at first i though just simply add on those parts but from the instruction, this RC MOC require to build the MK2 from start...
for us who already finish the MKII, require to disasemble it...

i did not have sharp eyes but from the video, I did not see much different from original other than the receiver...

this is what i found on this link about the MOC of MKII:

accidently found some weapons for minifig just now

got modern gun, rifle and ancient axe, sword, bow...
one packet about 4 pieces, 3 packets RM10...

but it's not from Lego, i think is china brand, so i don't think i should post a picture here...
what do you guys think about the price? is it cheap? quality is so-so only compare with Lego...

at first hesitating, then just decided to grab it on way home, since the kiosk is at my way back

ya, the silver is nice
for me, the quality is not bad actually... maybe lack of some details but overall not bad and i tested and able to fit in minifigure without much problem

i wonder is Lego also got this silver accessories?

for me, it not too loose or too tight, just perfectly fit in
price, RM10 for 3 packets (about 4+ weapons in 1 packet)

well, for the scale, i put the same one that i have at the same minifig for comparison...
the bow, rifle/machine gun seems fine but the brown sword and the brown one at ocean king seems slightly longer

well, for playability, maybe those come with motorised function is your choice...
9398 really a good choice, it comes with remote control function
(RC can easily to add in if u have the parts and know how to)

for us who already familiar with technic, we aim for bigger, more complex sets but for beginner, maybe u can start from small or medium sets...
bigger sets means cost more, need more time to build, more space to display and more finger pain but comes with bigger satisfaction

if ur flatbed means 8109, this set not bad actually (this is my first set since my last technic set is year 1999)
the flat part nice for display if space is your issue (u can put other collectibles at flat part)

for the crane, i only own 42009 and it has a lot of parts and need a long time to build...
probably a little bit of difficult for beginner (hard to finish in a day)
but of course, the satisfaction when finish is really good (but the finger pain really bad), the 42009 crane full extend is about 77cm, about waist level...


of course, there are 4x4, construction vehicle, F1, crane, truck, motor if you are looking for specific vehicle
(maybe i missed out some others)
just choose based on your budget and interest will fine... experience will come eventually as you own/build/play with it...


just share my own opinion about Lego Technic, this does not mean to offend anyone and I'm sorry if this have offend anyone

from your info, The 8110 is the 2nd model to have a compressor after its grandfather 8868 Air-tech claw rig, is that means the 42008 don't have compressor? i thought pneumatic require compressor to work

the ultimate 42009 really nice but i'm plan to familiar myself with the remote control system first before attemp to order parts for the Ultimate 42009 besides, need time to save $$$ as well

at first, the chain seems a little bit of not smooth when turning the wheel when i finish the model
however, after a few turns, the chain become smooth

don't know why, when building this model, i'm tempted to the B model instead
maybe will build B model next weekend

just sharing my opinions

42007 moto-cross not bad also
just finish build mine last weekend and it got biggest wheels and gears (please correct me if i'm wrong)
it also comes with suspension, v2 engine and the chain

8110, 42008 and 42009 is nice but as always, most of the nice one comes with expensive price (maybe 42008 consider cheap, i found RM500 at TRU)

for 8109, it's motorised function only at flatbed and the back (dunno what it called, something like a support)
i'm sure u can find more info from review or just the box art...

however, it did not come with engine, suspension, or differential gears...
a little bit difficult to modify for remote control...

the rear wheels are not fixed, it is flexible and support from the flatbed part so the rear will lower when flatbed is raised...
and i think it will be more difficult if transfer motor power to front wheel...

maybe the B model will be easier to modify for remote control but not sure about it since i haven't build the B model yet

and the price quite expensive also...
but of course, difficult does not means impossible
