QUOTE That's y la i didn't buy at the fish shop near my house better go to Jalan Pasar, i guess YT there aorund RM130 gonna go there tomorrow, survey survey, jalan-jalan cari pasal looking for better WF there also sweat.gif sweat.gif for WF if you want to breed aro, better use better WF (water filter) better don't use cheap WF like me coz it will effect your aro's growth me, using RM35 WF, cheap2 one maaa....looking fwd to change it ASAP oh.. then please let know what WF you get. QUOTE SnYY, Around 4". Size doent matter, healthy Aro grwoth rate is 1"/ mth. Most important is the quality. Dont waste time with YT. No color and the 2tone yellow/orangie tail very jalat. For budget get a Jardini. Try to find one with intense Gold/ Bronze. 2 wks ago, I bought 1 fr the stall next to the Chinese temple. If money isnt a issue, start with a RTG (min.) Noregrets, even if u decided to give up ur hobby in future, u can still recover ur cost. Others(lower species) no demand. Aferall mainteneance and feeding cost is the same biggrin.gif For filteration, an overhead filter and 30% water change weekly is fine. my fren also told me the same thing. at least start with RTG. but the problem is I don rear any fish b4. thay why I thinking to start with those cheap aro to get some experiences b4 going for those expensive aro. then after a period of time if my aro is growing well then only i go for those expensive aro. this is what I plan now. QUOTE overflow filter like mine....clean when u think its dirty....sponge and cotton have to be clean every 2 weeks,.... with this kind of filter, izzit need to make a hole on the bottom of the tank? what is the size of tank you use for filteration? |

QUOTE(madstone @ Dec 11 2006, 09:25 PM) havent buy yet. I stll ask the 4'x2' tank price around. cheapest price i get is 4'x1.5'full set rm400. but aljebat said his place rm300+ only can get full set of 4'x2'. anyone know where can get a cheaper 4'x2' full set at subang /pj area? QUOTE(ChelseaFan @ Dec 11 2006, 09:37 PM) Snyy, oh.. then at least i will get a 4'x2' tank. can recommand any fish shop that can get tank with cheaper price? Dont get a 4'x 1.5', u Aro will get stunted or bengkok. 4 x 2 is the min. requirement. If no budget better get a 3' x 1.5', keep the Aro until 1'(1 yr) and @ the meantime save enuf $ to upgrade to a 4 x 2. Better still 5' x 2.5'. If u observe in the fishforum, sometimes can get some 2ndhand at a decent price. |
