In subang also.. few months back before i install the standing delcol water filter at the porch of my house.. every week my white clotHing sure got one patch one patch brownish color each time after washin...

it may be expensive installing the torpedo filter... but in long run.. better install filter than baju one by one throw away... somemore cleaner water to drink..

i had two normal cotton fibre filter rite after the meter panel outside before joining it to the torpedo filter.. hehe..

calculation standing torpedo filter around rm 1000... one baju cheap t shirt also rm 20.. 50 baju = rm 1000... me and my wife throw away nearly 30 baju before deciding getting the filter..

in a way it also ensure i get better water quality each time wc...

trust me its worth the investment..

p/s: my wife lost one more reason getting new baju wakakkakaa

Pertaining to ur first image posting in page 75.. (some saz its greenie and some saz its YT ) its actually a indo Gold yellow tail... that fish i guess is around 5-6 inch..

its available in Jln pasar..

lol it does resemble rtg after it grows up... pls bear in mind the tail color become dark yellow.. but with red light on it.. the tail become orangey reddish color.. you can say its a cheaper alternative for rtg perhaps

when i get it the time.. i also donno what it is.. i like it becoz of the tail design and body Got greenish hue..

I am only able to find only that link for mature indo gold.. perhaps there is any members out there who like to share their indo gold aro pic..

p/s: I have tried this out .. if u have a greenie at home say bout 8-10 inch.. add dark water into the tank.. and shine it with purplish color lighting.. and ur green aro will turn to pink color.. have fun

btw.. anyone KNow where to find white aro and purple aro regardless of aro species

.. my greenie and indo gold both big eater...

each time i go fs i buy rm 6 feeder ( 2 pack of rm 3 each @ 30 pieces ) and rm 4 crics.. and i go back to the fs every 3 days once to restore supply of food..

each meal i feed them for crics.. each 20 pieces and not counting the feeder fish i left inside the tank..

hard to belive? believe it.. my wife and my fren all saz its crazy until they see with their own eyes...

last time also small eater until i change to nutrafin aquaplus and azoo vitamin...
(give them two squeeze of vitamin daily)

btw.. the greenie just aroun 9 inch and the indo gold around 8 inch only.

the only problem i have is the water get dirty very fast and have to watch out for their tail for rot due to a lot of poo poo...

last but Not least.. share a piece of information with all aro lovers out there..
the cricz in Penang is triple the size down here in KL.. damn huge.. if anyone go there buy 1000 pcs back and rear them.. wont regret it.

i never really measure.. just give two light squeeze every morning..
and i just replenish my food stock

Guess what.. my greenie broken the record set.. 22 pieces of crics.. the perut dam buncit ..

i donno whether it works for u or not but certainly works for me.. even without vitamin also the aro seems to eat a lot but Not that much..

the thing that i trial-an-error which really makes the aro to hentam the food is the nutrafin aquaplus anti clorin & cloramine.. before that last time i use cheap anti clorin solution or transparent pellet ( that is when the aro eat less) but after switchin.. drastic change for my case .. but then again.. anytHing for our beloved aro

cskeong : what is the procedure like? i dont recall any of my fren in penang having 4ft aquarium in aparment need to get approval..

madstone : bro u can feed frog even at 12 inch.. but then have to becareful.. make sure the frog is dead before feeding.. i saw once the aro hentam the frog from the back..
the frog kick the leg wide wide.. the aro mouth ternganga opened big big.. the frog dont wan to let go..
it may be funny but may also kill the aro.... i had my fair share of laughter witnessing that..

do like what the frog seller do before slicing the frog.. use a piece of wood and hit the frog pening..

what coconut saz give me new idea.. no need to do anything.
throw the frog into the plastic..
seal it for an hour prior to feeding time..
no need to press no need to throw and no need to whack...
let it suffocate byiteslf to death... easier..
