filteration: Hang on back filter 2biji (forget how many litre/hr, but its big)

problem is: some said need to put the powder before apply the soil. some say no need. then some say can use normal sand, some say use gravel, and some say use soil for shrimps. so blur now.

and as the question wht shrimps to keep, any recommendation with a room temperature about 27~!

Red cherry should be fine.
Start with some java moss and maybe a few anubias nana.
I've always used ADA soil, no regrets there.

Substrate choice is just what you wanna do with the tank. If you're not planting any stem plants, then don't need nutrient rich soil like Amazonia etc.

Main purpose for those shrimp specific substrate is that they buffer your water ph to a specific level for between 1 to 2 years.

If you don't need that, then sand would do as well but have to make sure that its inert and doesn't release stuffs that affects water quality.

And the de facto choice of shrimps for beginners are cherry/sakura/fire red shrimps as they're the most hardy.

possible to use the normal sand (which i used b4, like coral sand/holland sand/black sand)? Any effects to the shrimps? or advisable to change it all to shrimp type soil?

moss only i have, which i can tie it with the lava rocks.

Dont take the water or plant from their shrimp tank. Infested with planaria. As not to bring planaria baby and eggs into your tank. Carefully scoop only the shrimp into your tank. A torch light will help.

hii...I got a question..

I got 5 cory ni my 2f planted tank...initially only 2, but ter-breed till now got 5.

if I introduce shrimps in it, will the cory eat my shrimps and shrimplets?

its a planted tank, but nt really fully planted.

do I need to buy things like benichi products or special soils or I can just introduce them into my current tank? my tank contain Holland sands.

may I know the market price for fire red or RCS now? juz wana use for reference.

My tank temperature is between 26 to 27. night can reduce to 25.

Not advisable to keep CoryDora with shrimps.

Benibachi products are a bonus for keeping the shrimps healthier, doesn't mean other products not suitable it just required more steps or attention.

RCS- RM10-RM80 per piece. Depending what grade you looking for.

Rcs rm10??? I tot only crs only tht mahal....sobzzz...

Bro  tzuen rcs refer to red crystal shrimp aka crs.
Red cherry shrimp rm1 to rm2 depend where you get.

Benibachi is the pioneer in shrimps breeding in japan.
Brand like rac and Borneowild are either copying their fornula or getting oem products from benibachi.
Price is on the high side but results is there if follow accordingly.

Cory not shrimp safe.
