i can feel slight improvement, not to what i expected. but better than nothing la

today got my front rotor's change (but no brake pad change, only skimmed ), additional sealant on rear windows, rear bonnet latch repair, aircond repair (they say its not cold, but actually i am happy with the cold level, never ask them to check aircond at all), allignment, and first service all for the price of semi-syn EO

but bloody hell forgot to ask them check the handsfree connection. the receiver of my call say can't hear my voice clearly  

so solution change HU?

adoi..my fiery red scratch again...after go back from SC no scratch anything...i think it must be the u-turn i made..
scratch on lower front left...but i think can be covered with r3 bodykit later...

I've gotten the 'new pricing' batch, i.e. no security etching, no coil mat carpet, no trunk tray, no first aid kit. Comes with the YES 4G though.

So far compare to my experience of previous car (Hyundai Matrix) and my wife's Saga FL:
- I never test drive the old batch Preve before so can't tell if the VT3+ is more quiet, but the engine/cvt whine is noticeable (which doesn't bother me too much though), NVH is better than Saga and on par with Matrix but the tyre is pretty noisy.
- Feel like too thin while grabbing the steering wheel; Matrix and Saga feel thicker. Feedback is just nice, Matrix feel too light while Saga too heavy for my liking
- Pickup is not as responsive as Matrix but I understand this is normal for CAMPRO, Saga is the same.
- Rev around 1.5k-1.9k rpm for city drive with moderate traffic, feel ok; rev up to 2k and can feel the power.
- I can hear some gas releasing sound when releasing the brake pedal, is it the EVP?
- Fitting and finishing are ok, glove box open gracefully but can notice the uneven gap when close, and the front map light switch fitting is not nice, set to door sensing it won't light up, need to 'adjust' it a little to the left (probably contact problem).

Gonna explore the car more.

By the way, roughly how much to make coil mat carpet? The original carpet looks ugly and dirty...

went to r3 yesterday and the staff said its not coil mat...same carpet mat as existing preve
additional info they have ready stock r3 bodykit but can't install there because their guys are busy with proton carnival
and he expected the r3 suspension and spring for preve will be released around 3-4 months. they've completed the testing. it will lower the ride (expected by the staff) around 10mm
r3 rim for preve isn't that light, he said weighing around 9kg

anyone knows the best method to remove that black sponge they stick at both front doors? seems very hard to remove & it's pretty ugly to keep it there...

hmm, but but.. last time ppl tried drop in filter, go dyno test, got better result compare to stock filter. I just found out k&n no sell preve CFE filter, so only can buy from works eng.

Huh??? i thought some one has updated the map at CoSE before??
if i am not wrong i have read about it...some one please confirm~~

even when i go request for map update at Section 13 service center~~the guy mention if i have receive notification from the GPS screen asking for an update~~because when there is an update, Bosch will send a wave (gelombang) to notify user about it... therefore...based on the guy's statement...i believe there should be FREE updates~~

anyway without the update~~personally i am happy with the GPS in KL area...except one time when i am trying to find some really deep puchong pertama road..it failed me~~
the map even cover very ulu road deep inside Negeri Sembilan (kuala sawah to be specific)~~and the direction sensing is good..able to detect slight movement~~
of coz i do agree Google Map is the best and most updated~~but my phone's A-GPS got problem

i decided to change the bk 1st,becoz i tot i want to wack the stock rim and tyre kaw2 first,furthermore my mileage only 12k,not worth it to change to new tyre (my opinion)..
when i change to new tyre and bigger rim,i need to consider few things like fuel consumption,driving comfort etc
