fake hang is a temporary frozen state. the timeout varies from unit to unit...usually it will be gone after ~5mins

some tips to trace ur device.

1. Go to Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators
2. Tick "MyXperia" and "Android Device Manager"
3. Go to https://myxperia.sonymobile.com/ and https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager?u=0 on two separate browser tabs for the demo purpose.
4. Follow neccessary instructions and you're ready to trace your phone.

This works better if you use both services to get confirmation on the location.

From these 2 services, you are able to:
1. Locate your device.
2. Lock your device.
3. Wipe your device.

But what if the thief managed to disable your phone's network?
The thief will need some time to do this, and the only way is by shutting down your phone first while he look to take out your sim card. To buy you some time for the next alternative, install Smart Lockscreen Protector and the thief will have some hard time trying to shutdown or reboot the device (provided your phone lockscreen is well-locked). By blocking this will also give the thief a hard time to flash the phone with flashtool...just hope he dnno bout the physical reset button XD

Then, this is where Find My Phone come in handy. The moment your phone got stolen, quickly borrow someone's phone to send a quick SMS to trigger the phone alarm/report its location/remote wipe/take photo/re-enables your phone's data network. This is very essential as to allow you to hit the trigger on-the-go without having to find another nearby browser just to monitor ur device's location.

not rumour. all white polymer will be yellow. you can google up why it happen and how to slow down the process. Exposure to surrounding is one of the factor as oxidization of the polymer will be faster.

yea...from my reading, exposure to sunlight too often in open air also quickens the process...but i dn mind though as long my fingerprint not visible XD

I think the cheapest price the phone will drop b4 Sony decided to stop its production will be RM1599. Why? Because the screen alone already RM1k++.

well i jz state my opinion on the lowest possible price for the phone. not its death.

seen any brand new S3 below RM1k? or better yet, the ever famous Motorola RAZR2 V9 below RM300? similar case of final price will happen to any phone after stop production/promotion/stock clearance. my opinion is based on phone production cost + smallest profit margin. but then again, I might be wrong.

I found out why I didn't have any SOD or Fake hang. Is due to using firmware for C6806 instead of C6802. Now that I'm on C6802 firmware, i facing fake hang issue but no SOD though so i dont mind~

practice makes perfect...u gotta know where to place ur ear for better call volume n quick proximity response XD the phone is "taller" so it'll take awhile getting used to.

hahaha yeah...but i resolve the issue with Lux Auto Brightness. I think is a very must have for any great screen as the auto brightness is very comforting compared to Android's stock. one of the best rm10 i spent..lol

it's close to self preference rather than manually as it learns from your usage as well if u decided to override its suggestion a lot of time..and u can set the brightness to change gradually instead of instantly. For my eyes, the screen lighting ambience is nicer using the app. It doesn't add or remove ur screen quality but more like give u pleasure staring on the screen on the long run

I'm on dynamic auto with fade brightness change amazing how this app have no impact on battery life

yea can try on ur note 3 too...the app really worth as u can set minimum/maximum brightness, zero point for backlight (some phone doesn't turn off backlight when screen off until phone asleep) and a lot more

the auto brightness should satisfy u...i know i am satisfied

really? i usually don't use my phone outdoors under direct bright lights but i think at 70% brightness for outdoor is very acceptable.
