Can we rip the HFPA Bluray Audio Disc to .flac using software without downgrade the audio quality?
I know Universal Music allow to download MP3 or FLAC versions of the tracks it is the same quality audio to the HFPA Bluray Audio Disc?

HFPA Bluray Audio Disc for storage it is need to be keep into dehumidify dry cabinet(those to store DSLR camera lens)? For long term 10 years above collection.

Because humidity cause mold like those day VCR and cassette tape era.

Last time I read somewhere the CD is the best to archives because one 'dot mold' cover not so much of data compare to blu ray due to more fine and dense.

Very much so.

In terms of sound quality, I can state from best to good are

1) Dolby TrueHD
2) DTS Master Audio
3) PCM

Dolby overall sounds more open, full and spirited...

I cannot explain why

PCM are original file
Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio are lossless compression rclxub.gif

Will portable audio player support Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio hmm.gif Now support DSD file thumbup.gif cool.gif

Thank you for bringing this up.

Usually, the bluray Audio disc consist of a main menu which allows you to pick songs you want to play and also the sound option (You get to choose between PCM, DTS Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD, all in Stereo).

Surprisingly, the Bob Marley disc, apart from having a Sense Surround Option, when the music is playing, a slide show consisting of Bob Marley Photos are displayed as background!!

Again, another interesting question.

For the longest time, I only used the disc on my Bluray player, an old Panasonic Bluray player...

I recently bought a bluray rom for my laptop... Have not tried putting the bluray audio on that will try soon and let you know...
