It seems that Dell thinks it might be a hardware issue and intends to come out with new pens sometime soon. (at least, something is going on there.) If the new pen works well, then it can be a good alternative to wacom. What i don't get it is why the adonit jot stylus doesn't work well with the dell venue 8 pro screen.
But yes, as you say it takes forever to arrive and that is the problem. I don't mind 32 gb or 64 gb because i always save or download files to my home made NAS (network attached storage drives). With each passing day, I am getting tired of waiting for asus wacom 8 inch tablet and yet still like the idea of having a good active stylus to handle the desktop part.
Thanks for the feedback on touchpal. Unfortunately, it isn't working out well in metro tiles side.
Actually, I have never been a fan of stylus or touch for Windows, despite was dreaming about it many years back.
It was too expensive back then in 2002. When it finally got cheap few years back, bought a Acer 1825 and was disappointed. Fast forward today, and Im still left a bit disappointed. Windows hardly ever changed, in terms of user interaction. It was a bit like the Metro UI app for Symbian phone. Make an app that houses all the new interaction apps while left the old one to the old ways. Thats not helping a single bit.
Honestly speaking, I have better success using Splashtop Remote Desktop to draw in Autocad from my tablet/smartphone than on Acer W4 itself. Still have to buy a bluetooth keyboard mouse for it.
