QUOTE(masashi89 @ Jan 21 2014, 12:24 PM) Hi guys, sorry to ask this nub question, but, is there really gonna be big difference using a third party router than using the TM's? thanks in advance. Yes 1. Security wise refer this http://blog.namran.net/2010/09/02/tm-unifi...-security-hole/and this http://www.bolehvpn.net/blog/2010/06/tm-un...e-unifi-router/and .... many mores if you search around. 2. Better throughput i.replacing router is better options because you get better processor router and can handle more sessions (if you do download alots) ii.better wireless coverage areas iii.chose the brand router you like and you control it.
