I've tried using all those three channels..doesn't work.
I don't think the problem is caused by interference since the wireless signal is completely lost.
And the problem is getting worse. Just now I can only browse for 10+ minutes before I need to reboot the router again, after reboot the wireless signal is available for about 1 minute b4 it is lost again!
Finally I decided to switch back to my previous D-Link router. The ping is high, but at least the connection is maintained. Also, ASUS RT-AC68U is freakin expensive..almost RM 700 for a router? Need to wait a few months before I can get that one.

Save the money bro, the RT-AC68U is 100% worth it with it's extra features.
It may seem expensive at first, but once you bought it, you won't regret it.
You can also get
ASUS RT-N66U at RM525 if you think spending RM699 on a router is too much.
If Gigabit LAN is not important to you, you can get
ASUS RT-N14UHP for RM249.
TP-Link uses crappy hardware, cheap PCB & rarely update firmware, that's why they're cheap.
Whereas ASUS uses great hardware & regularly updated firmware, that's why they're expensive.
true that
@ballistix89 it all boils down to what features and range do you want. if you want just a replacement router for dlink DIR615, Asus RT N12 D1(RM120) is good enough. it doesn't have USB ports, but it performs well even with quite a number of clients. I am using this for my rumah sewa.
the RT-N14UHP is also a very good performer with good range and extra features like usb support. it is 2.4 ghz only, but it can create additional 4 guest SSIDs just like the N12. I bought one for my parents' place at RM275. it also just received another firmware update.
if your clients are just below 10, and your house is not super big. the n12 d1 is more than enough.
you get what you pay
that being said, if you have extra old routers, you can use them as APs to improve your coverage if you have to cover different floors or for blindspots. if it doesnt support ap mode, disable the DHCP server for these old routers and it'll be an AP too.
