QUOTE(esma_ezhar @ Feb 3 2014, 08:13 PM) Hi, if I'm upgrading from streamyx 4mbps to unifi vip 10. I'm only pay for Rm199 per month rite? So, I will get the hypptv mega pack for rm199 Or rm199+Rm50 for that package? I believe it's 5mbps + hypptv then it's free upgrade to 10mbps. Not sure if you subscribe 10mbps is the same. QUOTE(wavezard @ Feb 3 2014, 11:09 PM) Hello guys, if u dont mind..how do the technician make a hole for the fibre cable? For example, my house already have phone cable port....need to drill too? And how to get a good and nice technician, hope they make a hole nicely.. If you're worried, get your own contractor to drill the holes. I can tell you that the installer will most likely just drill and tampal the hole with some filler.

QUOTE(PoPoBear @ Feb 17 2014, 02:45 PM) Hi guys , just got my 10mbps VDSL . my phone and laptop got 10mbps at speedtest.net while my desktop (im using wifi adapter/receiver/detector) only get 3mbps. what should I do to improve my speed ? buy usb wifi booster ? Get a better wireless router QUOTE(danshi @ Feb 17 2014, 03:56 PM) Hi, Can someone please advice me. I've been using Unifi for more than 2 years. I would like to know if I'd be able to retain the same house phone number after cancelling my unifi subscription? If you're talking about the Unifi service number, don't think so. Cause the number is attached to VoIP service not fixed line service.

QUOTE(ic-klass @ Feb 28 2014, 10:11 AM) Out of topic. Just need to clarify/explain - which is better streamyx 8mbps or unifi vip5? My condo has both. Does the lesser streamyx upload (512 kbps) will affect much?? Mostly will be doing web browsing, social networking, and torrent 720p/1080p. It (the connection) will be shares by 3-4 devices at one time. Thanks for opinion, not a techy guy 😀 unifi

Anyone having problems with 118.* IP? Youtube keep buffering but speedtest is okay. Reconnected and fine with 210.* IP

QUOTE(Andy72 @ May 2 2014, 08:46 PM) [attachmentid=3954565][attachmentid=3954567][attachmentid=3954568][attachmentid=3954569][attachmentid=3954570][attachmentid=3954571][attachmentid=3954572][attachmentid=3954573] I have done multiple speed tests from multiple providers and the results are consistent for my VIP20 which is about 19Mbps down and 11Mbps up. Only the official unifi speedtest shows 18Mbps down and up. I lodged a report to Unifi regarding the slow speed but they say they only follow the official speed test result and closed my report without doing anything. It is very hard to believe the official unifi speedtest is accurate considering all of the other speedtests are showing the same result. 20mbps represents your link speed with tm. Not tm backbone speed.
