my phone and laptop got 10mbps at speedtest.net
while my desktop  (im using wifi adapter/receiver/detector) only get 3mbps. what should I do to improve my speed ?

Just need to clarify/explain - which is better streamyx 8mbps or unifi vip5?
My condo has both. Does the lesser streamyx upload (512 kbps) will affect much?? Mostly will be doing web browsing, social networking, and torrent 720p/1080p. It (the connection) will be shares by 3-4 devices at one time.

I have done multiple speed tests from multiple providers and the results are consistent for my VIP20 which is about 19Mbps down and 11Mbps up. Only the official unifi speedtest shows 18Mbps down and up. I lodged a report to Unifi regarding the slow speed but they say they only follow the official speed test result and closed my report without doing anything. It is very hard to believe the official unifi speedtest is accurate considering all of the other speedtests are showing the same result.
