To apply passport at PUSAT BDR DSARA, what is the best time to be there? how many numbers they will give out for 1 day? Can i print the form online and fill up, rather than go there to buy the form?

Added on March 5, 2008, 9:37 pmfor the kiosk one izzit only for renewal?? what is the different between renewal and new as both also got a new passport book rite? I have a passport expired 10 years ago so do I need to bring that passport along? can i do it at kiosk?

Hi Yoonagg,

Just wan ask u regarding above...saw ur posting in forum and u r workg at the visa appl office. thanks in advance biggrin.gif

i hv booked air ticket to macau 30th nov to 3rd dec 09 in may..
due to some unforeseen circumstances i mite cancel my trip or make a last mins decision to go.

plan to go zhuhai and stay 1 nite before coming back to macau, so i need the chinese visa. i will onli apply for the visa on wk 16th or wk 23rd nov (since i can onli make last min decision)..at your side do you think i can collect my visa in time for my trip on 30 nov? i mean with norm 4 days waiting...

is the queue very long everyday for application? what is the best time to arrive there? the counter close at 11.30am, if i arrive at 11.00am will they still process for me? izzit we need take numbers? any max number limit given perday?

for collection of visa - need take number and long waiting?

the express one which can collect the next day is RM100??

thanks!

Hi kca, good morning! biggrin.gif

regarding to your enquire, i'll answer you one-by-one.

first of all, i've to mention that, the present visa application which take place in embassy will be transform to another NEW VISA CENTRE, which means that new system will be taking and price will be increase on the coming november. so, for peoples who want to apply visa, you can come to apply now, so that you dont need to pay extra service charges in the future.

ok, back to your questions.
1. you can collect your passport before 30th nov if you come to apply on 16th or 23rd nov.
2. everyday have the long queue, the best time is you come around 8.30am and queve once the entrance door open.
3. the ENTRANCE DOOR close at 11.45am. if you enter before the entrance door close, we will still proceed your application.
4. no number to take, and no limitation quatity for per day.
5. dont need to take number when you come back to collect, just need to queue at the payment counter.
6. 2 working days collection will charge you extra RM100.

everyone please take note, the above information is not valid after the new visa centre open.

thanks! tongue.gif

(OOPPPSSS, today is gonna be a superb busy day! i cant imagine i have to OT till wht time. take care!)

you're most welcome! biggrin.gif

the new service centre will be located just one floor upper of the consular office of china embassy, which means the 2nd floor of OSK building.
it's still under renovation, so the exact open date is still not confirm yet, might be next month.

(last night we OT until 2.30am midnight, it was so crowded the whole day! rclxub.gif )

I have the same question as above. Pls share your findings from Japan embassy

I went to renew my passport recently and the immigration cant detect my fingerprint from their machine. They just asked me stamp my fingerprint on the form. I guess they recorded as unable detect fingerprint. So when I ask the immigration they said most slightly I need go counter when passing thru malaysia immigration. Just wondering will this cause any immigration issue to entry other country? And the photo taken by them doesnt look like me too..lol
