1) RM300 for 32 pages (IIRC, it is for 5 years. Correct me if I'm wrong)
2) 3 working days
3) How old are you? above 12 years old, parent's IC is not required. Just need your birth certificate and your IC.
4) Refer to no. 1
5) Refer to the IC's address. Ask them for more info.

Has anybody tried renewing their Malaysia International Passport via online system recently? Any comments about it?

And can I renew my passport even though I still have 1 year left before the expiry?

if u intend to travel within that year, better renew it. it's gonna be pain-in-the-ass if u going to renew it during school holiday come Nov-Dec.

Noted.

Another question about Putrajaya Immigration Office. Is it Precinct 2 or Precinct 15 that handles passport applications?

Planning to purchase MAS air ticket but passport is going to expire soon. Should I renew first or can I purchase first?

Purchase first. When you renew your passport, remember to call them to change. for international flights, you might need to do it 72 hours before flight to avoid complications. I did mine weeks earlier at their office just to be on the safe side.

As I am going for a trip on year end, I am planning to renew my passport though it's going to expire in Q1 2017.

So... if I renew it now (or a couple months down the road), does it starts from my passport's expiry date or on the date when I renew my passport?
