i got 1 question. My passport will expire in Aug 2008. I am planning to apply for Australian PR and the requirement is that my passport has to be valid for at least 2 years. So, am I allowed to renew now and will I lose my balance 1.5 years on my old passport? Anyone can help me on this?

for those using the new passport machine, do we still need to fill up the same form or is it using a different form? And can we use the form downloaded from internet?
