Hi guys, just thought to share some info on the handwriting bit. It seems like the panel to manage the handwriting settings is either gone or hidden. However, you can use the "Direct pen input" function to bring up the older type of handwriting input panel which allows for faster writing compared to the new handwriting panel in the S-note app.

Hi guys, just thought I share this link which is a document that seems to be distributed to customer service staff with regards to the Note 3.
Most of the information there is pretty obvious I suppose but some might be quite useful. Figured out the handwriting issue after being given a pointer to that doc from an XDA-dev member. http://www.sammobile.com/wp-content/upload...ltant_Guide.pdf |

Just thought I share some DIY I did on my N3. I'm not a fan of cases, preffering to leave the phone bare as much as I can but with some level of protection. Normally I will use a full body shield for my devices, but there's none at the moment for the Note 3. So I decided to DIY my own by using a spare shield from my iPad.
Results, it's pretty ok, but due to the textured backing, plenty of air bubbles are left behind. Hence, I'd say it's probably for cases where you want to leave your phone bare and don't really mind the not so pleasant looks. I like it coz I don't have to buy cases. Just thought to share some photos, ain't exactly pretty Attached thumbnail(s) |

I'm using Best Skins Ever. Yeah, the sides will likely peel off first, so I trimmed the sides. Will be trimming it further to exclude the stitched areas and hopefully it will stick longer. Normally I replace it once every 3 -5 months. Hopefully can last as long

Coming from my S3, my power button did wear out, giving the phone an auto reboot feature every time the power button is accidentally touched. Occurred right after warranty. It will go into a boot loop and I have to press continuously on the power button to get it out of the boot loop and eventually the OS starts.
One reason why i gave up on my S3 and give it back to my company QUOTE(edison1437 @ Sep 29 2013, 11:01 AM) |
