joytest, I'm not sure if this is already mentioned on your first page. Please put a warning for no congratulatory message. First, second and etc.

I'll not hesitate to give a warning when this is a post count enabled section.

for those who already got their Note 3 and previously using a note 2
Whats the best way to migrate all the data to your new note 3?
*
App data? I'll be using Helium tonight to transfer.

Oh.. Another sleepless night.

andrewtst thanks for the merge and transparency. You are credited at the end of post 1.

Would you mind telling me how it's done? What software is used?
*
There are a lot of software that do that.
I always use GIMP for transparency.

By the way, I think the photo is quite big size. With my fast Internet speed, it still takes some time to load the photo.

Edit: 1.26MB. No wonder.

i plan to get n7 also... now hv to think twice already...hahahah.... 2168 the cheapest i see so far.... forget about the yesterday ebay la...he gv u casing and sp free?
*
No la. Promo price, no freebies but he has casing and SP already. sweat.gif
My Liquid Armor is at hometown and won't be going back until next week... So, I bought the SP from him RM 15. Call me kiasu. doh.gif But his workmanship is damn good. biggrin.gif

In the end, paying less than RM 800 for Note 3, I'm a happy girl. biggrin.gif
*I have Stan Chart cash reward and company's subsidy which gives me RM 1405... That's why I paid less than RM 800. biggrin.gif

*
Nope. I applied for Stan Chart during promo and I received RM 605 cash back which wasn't utilized yet. biggrin.gif
So, on the bill, it was full cost but when I pay my bill later will less out RM 605. biggrin.gif

note 3 can replace a lot of phone that i want to purchase before... no more z1 as the camera i am really satisfief with my.... my wife also gv me a pass score. and no more mega and nex7 already as the size is around 0.5-1" diff... FullHD by the way. and good battery life. yes, battery life is vy important to me specially i need always on call when on project & whatsapp team member also... no more power bank.
*
I really needed an extra device because my schedule to China assignment is out. I will be there for two months from Nov onwards, so I will need one to move around in China.

Then thought of taking Nexus 7 but company's subsidy doesn't cover tabs, only phones... I bought Note 3, sekali punya sakit. laugh.gif

No regret so far, though I do feel it is a bit redundant to have two Notes. I could feel that my Note II will be underutilized. #confession #guilty

Fruitie since you are going to mainland have you ever think of getting a dual sim note 3 from there? No need to carry 2 notes.
*
Three phones actually. sweat.gif
1) Corporate
2) Personal
3) Mainland line

But the dual SIM Note 3 has lower specs right?

More on the SIM lock issue

http://www.androidcentral.com/some-unlocke...cific-countries

...Users on the XDA forums are reporting SIM lock-style restrictions on both the unlocked European LTE Note 3 (SM-N9005) and unlocked Latin American HSPA+ Note 3 (SM-N900) when used with SIMs from outside their approved regions. Using a Vodafone UK SIM in the American Note 3 produces a SIM lock screen, one poster writes. Nirave Gondhia from UK Mobile Review reports that his UK Note 3 refuses to accept SIM cards from the U.S., United Arab Emirates or Singapore. Curiously, it appears the lock doesn't apply to the Asia/Pacific version of the phone....

hmm.gif I wonder about our unit. hmm.gif

Exynos, no LTE.

Only root at best, no custom ROMs for ORD.

I see. I hope I can live without rooting.
I miss AdAway and removing bloatwares... cry.gif

fruitie jie also lost to temptation in the end? looks like note 3 is too much for most of us here to resist.
*
Just that I needed a phone and Note 3 came out now, so that's it. biggrin.gif
But I must admit I'm quite tempted as well la. tongue.gif

I didn't watch as many tutorials as I did before when I bought my Note II.
I hope Note 3 is not going to be difficult for a Note II user. biggrin.gif

When Note 3 was announced, my colleagues asked if I will buy it... I confidently told them, "No, I won't, not buying this time."

Looks like I'm in deep trouble tomorrow when I go back to office. sweat.gif

Correct.
In my Note II, I can open links on background but seems like this thing doesn't appear on Note 3. How unusual is that when it's a common feature. hmm.gif
