i guess we should really make a big fuss if the item we bought is defective in the first place. i mean even maxis. this is consumer rights, and we shouldn't let those big corporations earn big money while bullying us. file a complaint with tribunal if they refuse 1-to-1 exchange.

joytest perhaps you want to post this article up regarding region locking.
http://www.androidcentral.com/galaxy-note-...-details-emerge summary:- -note3 and other samsung flagships manufactured after july will have region locking in EU and US. -booting up for the first time in this phone must use EU/US sim cards. after the first activation, it will be sim unlocked. -booting up for the first time with a sim card from non EU/US operators will lock the phone. need to go to samsung service center to unlock. what this means:- -samsung wants to prevent parallel import from EU/US to other regions -AP set from EU/US will most likely be activated already before it can be used in other regions. |

QUOTE(destEX @ Sep 29 2013, 11:44 AM) poison too strong...been following this thread a lot. QUOTE(hooh888 @ Sep 29 2013, 12:28 PM) i see, guess that means i have to stick with default font for awhile too, the other 2 pre-installed fonts doesn't work for me lol. same case as S4. you need to use an app called ifont. install the fonts then use ifont to apply. it works for S4, i hope it works the same for note3https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...app.ifont&hl=en |

Somehow I feel that the home button is a bit loose compared to note 2. The feeling is like s2 and note 1's home button

joytest i suggest the freebies app link to be placed just under the RRP in post 1. i think it's more visible there and most people seems to ask the same question.

QUOTE(zad78 @ Sep 29 2013, 10:46 PM) What about Celcom 4G on Note 3? Based on the website, The Celcom 4G LTE service is currently only accessible using the USB Modem, while service via smartphones and tablets will be available soon. Is this true? my friend is using celcom lte on her s4 after getting her sim card changed at blue cube sunway. according to her, LTE is not stable. it keeps switching back to h+. that was few months back, not sure about now. |
