The other day when I was signing the Note 3 plan, the speed of the yellow man was like snail even it shows H+ in my S2...

Now I am enjoying LTE while waiting for the swapping process to be done...

Really no regret at all for upgrading to Note 3 and Maxis...

While Samsung’s wordings aren’t very clear, it seems that the Galaxy Note 3 will actually be usable everywhere, but not before it is activated with a SIM from the region it was bought in. Once you activate it/use it with a local SIM, you’ll be able to visit other regions/travel abroad and use it with SIM cards from that particular region without issues. This is likely to reduce grey imports by retailers and those who want to make a quick buck by importing the device and selling it at higher prices, as the retailer would have to open the box to activate it before selling it, which would make it less attractive to a buyer. However, until Samsung makes an even clearer statement, you probably should refrain from importing even a Note 3 that has been activated in its home region.

un_id of course you may disagree, but if you consider current cumulative sales, Samsung is still king of the phablet hill today. It may change later though, we'll see.

Anyway....I see most of the non-Samsung users get their phones for the following reasons:

1. I want to be different and not an ifag or Samsungfag
2. I want premium feel/design etc non functional requirement
3. I got bored with Samsung
4. I got device (x) as it meets my needs.

I suspect most fall into 1 and 2, and some in 3. 4 will be the least (for non-Samsung devices).

For me, I will state that 4 is why I choose Samsung. It meets my needs.

We (or at least the flashoholics) are trying to avoid Knox as best as we can.

An Australain retailer has received the first batches of 16 and 32 GB Note 3 units, arriving from Hong Kong, and has confirmed that they were able to use them with an Australian SIM card without issues, and there is no region-lock warning label on the box with them.

LTE is everywhere in Klang Valley, I'm referring to Maxis and it's expanding fast that many cities in other states do have LTE as well.
