AmmoShaf I think you misunderstood Maxis. I am very sure the 6 months restriction is for porting - meaning you cannot port out to another telco within 6 months. But you are free to sign up any contract/plan under Maxis. That's what quite a few bro done here these few days - port out from DiGi and sign up Maxis bundle for Note 3.

QUOTE(Reventon @ Sep 27 2013, 03:45 PM) Scrapbook backup only to samsung server ? You rooted and install Titanium Backup? Rooting alone won't have any effect on the "whatever" counter?Another thing is the app we disable is +/- as TiBu freezing ? Seems the apps I dont use like planner translate voice etc vanished when I disable. |

QUOTE(Reventon @ Sep 27 2013, 04:00 PM) Installed Titanium Backup but not rooted hehe. The phone itself is very good even on stock. I just disable the apps from App Manager. Some bloatware like g music keep running itself on the background. not rooted can run Titanium Backup? |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 27 2013, 04:49 PM) On your other phone install app HELIUM and backup your apps. App data will be backup. Than copy the CARBON folder to your Note3 Great info, din know about Helium coz all the while using Titanium. Just bought Helium Premium. With the increasing restrictive access to Root, a Titanium Backup-like backup app without the need of root is very important to backup/migrate data. Install Helium in Note 3 and select restore. Choose the app which you want its data be restore Restoration is 100% GOOD. You need to connect phone to PC to run Helium. Install the helium program in PC too It is all self guided and explanatory |

Just got mine yesterday but quite disappointed with the stability of the phone as mentioned by some others here. There is some random FC (iirc, both Google apps) even before i started installing my paid apps. Camera app also got heywire after i test-shoot a picture of my breakfast this morning - all the on-screen control disappear, no effect on touch. The power and home button not responsive at all but the screen show the camera is functioning - i.e. it still view live image, not freeze. I just put it back in my pocket and start with my breakfast. After 10 mins later when i finish my breakfast and took it out to check, it went back to home screen and all seems well. Looks like a freaking lag. Play NFS and it hang during startup... need to pull battery.
Restore the data from my Note II with Helium Premium. Will monitor few more days and do a factory reset to purge it and start from scratch again. But i do note the mobile internet speed is freaking fast - on the same location on H+, my Note II can only do 8-9Mbps but the Note 3 can go up to 18+Mbps. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Sep 29 2013, 01:40 PM) Try factory reset and don't restore anything from your old Note 2. The first FC happen within 1 hour i turned on the device, after i updated some system google apps. IIRC, it was the Maps app. Long before i restore anything from my Note 2. I didn't face anything as you mention. It is solid stable to me, or else you already seen I repeating complain already at here. QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 29 2013, 01:45 PM) Cynox try factory reset. My unit perform flawlessly perfect straight out of the box. I don't have those issues you mentioned. I did not even factory reset it. Strange some units got such problem. Will definitely do a factory reset but right now try to do more testing and exploration first, maybe for another few days at least. Good news to sports ppl, it can detect the Adidas miCoach HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) without problem. |

QUOTE(neihc @ Sep 29 2013, 03:11 PM) Why music player can suddenly in a low voice until can't hear ? Google player or samsung player also same. mine dun have volume problem but while listening to music, occasionally it will pause a second or two like there is some notifications come in but when i checked, nothing. notice the screen will dim itself sometime if i am reading some web page or even tried just at the homescreen. I did not use auto brightness and set the Screen Mode to standard/pro photo, still same auto-dimming (battery life more than 70%). Did i miss any setting? |

QUOTE(etap @ Sep 29 2013, 09:08 PM) I had the exact issue (auto dimming) as yours. i have hell lot other minor issues too. Just did a factory reset 1 hour ago, decided to do it sooner than later since got some spare time now. Thanks God, so far everything seems perfect already, before i start restoring from Helium. You may want to try a factory reset too. Disable auto brightness in settings,, tried all screen mode, disable browser auto brightness, disable all Smarts Features, and yet, the screen will auto dim, sometimes lasted for few seconds, sometimes few minutes. This really makes me sad as I upgraded from S3 and I had issue with S3 @ yellowish screen display. Apart from this issue, I'm very happy with Note 3. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 29 2013, 09:30 PM) Better do first lor if got free time.QUOTE(destEX @ Sep 29 2013, 09:33 PM) the problem is some random FC happened before i even restoring any of my data. Now seems like ok already, no FC so far. Actually it is not uncommon for those ROM-flashaholic coz sometime flashing custom rom also will have such problem - random FC, instability, etc but they will go away after another new flash of the same rom and factory reset. |
