I don't know about the weird part but I can see how their hepatic touch pads can be used in DoW. Assuming that it's programmable on the sensitivity, one pad would be for larger movements while the other for more finer movements, akin to a mouse where we'll sometimes scroll about and occasionally be precise in selecting or for details.
