Even though I can easily afford it, I NEVER pay more than RM500 ( usually around RM300-400) for a phone for my 3 kids. They start to use it in Form 5 till their graduation from university. I don't believe in pampering my children with such unnecessary luxuries. Why would they need a smartphone for. They can always communicate using their laptop but I will not hesitate to pay RM5K just for a MacBook Air for them as this is a more useful tool than a handphone. My children are very and extremely well trained by my wife and they NEVER ask me for stuffs. They are frugal in their spending. Infact I have top persuade them to buy new clothes/shoes every new year. But they will not hesitate to spend money on books. Every shopping trip is 99% spend on books.
Now all of them are working ( and comparatively is now way better than me in my days), they have their own means to buy what they like.

Yes you can use credit card on ebay.
Using paypal is better as your CC details are secured n in case any fail transactions guaranteed refund of every single sen.

I have bought in one single transaction RM 4950 from HK and no issue. That was about 4 years back. . It is tied in to your credit card limit. RM 2000-3000 transaction many times I did already !!

No need to fret so much. Just buy it cheaply off ebay tomorrow morning. Even if you miss the next pricing is RM 1999 still very attractive. I am planning to buy 2 units tomorrow morning - one for my friend and one to resell to make some small profit to cover my first purcahase cost

I don't think it will take more than 3 days to be in your hands. The last time I bought the S4 special promo, I recieved it next day. As in the S4 case once the initial lot was sold, the subsequent lots prices went up RM 100 until whole batch was sold out. I remember the balance units took about 3 days to be finally sold off. Once the 20 units taken-up, you will see RM 1999 for subsequent units

Based on all the questions, seems like many of you guys don't do online shopping. I have bought so much stuffs from EBay, Amazon.com, Clove UK, Handtec UK , Carrymobile.com, Aliexpress.com, Taobao etc past 7 years and yet to faced a single extra charge on credit card. As for shipping costs it will always be reflected in the posting details or you can view it during checkout or view it before checkout in a separate window
And I always choose Paypal for extra security and assurance of refund ( every single sen) if transaction fail finally. I have 2 refunds made past 7 years and I got back every sen

Isn't it natural that item is only consider sold only when you have make payment ?? If you do not pay, you will lose the chance to buy as this are special bidding

How can I tell you the answer ?? I am not the seller. But I can tell you the last S4 promo, I recieved the phone the very next day. Even if have to wait 2 weeks is still worth it for RM 1888 or even 1999

YES. Since is your first time high chance your bank will decline. Than you need to call bank to release , meaning you will probably lose out on the bidding. I suggest you buy something cheap and if bank decline , call bank to have your creditcard available whole day for all paypal transactions

Yes, paypal will charge your CC immediately once you purchase. But as I said since is your first time, you might face a bank decline. This just extra security measure from them. DO as I suggest to avoid losing time to bid successsfully

Just received my black unit from superbuy.
Immediate impression : build quality average n the back faux leather is so horrible yucky!!! I prefer the original Note2 back anytime
And the phone is noticeably n obviously warmer than my XZU.
