Was at the sales gallery earlier today. Supposed to view it over the weekend but after viewing One Cochrane Residence and a round of walking at IKEA had to go for a steamboat fix at Velocity Mall.
Interesting project, seems would be very well integrated with Velocity Mall however kind of a far walk to get to the MRT station when compared to Cochrane.
Density a bit on the high side. Facilities, nothing special especially when compared to their other development such as Sunway Serene. Can't beat it for convenience as plenty of food places for all kinds of budget around the area and you can even find my favourite tausa pao less than 200m away.
Flipping potential? Nil, developer has already future priced it when compared against UNA and Laville.
Rental?
Never realized the area was flooded with PRC nationals and judging by the number of China-styled steamboat restaurants mushrooming at Velocity Mall, I won't be surprised SV2 would be a favourite among them too. All this of course assumes you'd be willing to rent to that type of people.
Would I buy one? Hmmmmmmm..... Price a bit on the steep side for the location and I think would need to invest some big bucks in ID to get good rental rates.
