Details of the complaint :
Warranty issue.
I was told by him that I could use the warranty card to claim warranty without a receipt. I went to HTC to try and claim for warranty cause my phone had motherboard issues. It is TRUE that i can claim using the warranty card but the warranty card is between the dealer and the manufacturer. The full warranty for customers is the receipt. So I went to HTC claiming using the warranty card but it was over due .. so the staff told me to bring a receipt... and i was told it has 2 more months of warranty by sanjev007. When i approached him he said ok he will try to find for receipt... but he didn't report back... I can't even what'sapp , call, sms him now. His phone has been switched off.

PM him about this topic.. He is still online..

Are you sure your phone still has warranty ? If it really does then the staff should be able to check it online.

I can't brain this... why warranty card is between dealer and manufacturer only if you need to fill up your details and have to keep one copy.

Anyway, some receipt only printed on thermal paper which only can be read for a few months only... after that will be blank.

Exactly.... i thought so.. that's what the HTC staff told me... i just send my phone and card and they say warranty is over. Then i asked why ? There should be still warranty as i was told by the previous owner. Then staff said .. get her the receipt. If it's still within one year... then she can allow it. I have no idea how the system works but anyway the guy brought from his thread listed the item less than a year and it's posted on 14th sept... so they should be still warranty and sanjev007 also confirms it when i bought it from him. He told me i could claim the warranty just by bringing my phone and the warranty card... but they decline saying warranty is over.

It is not under warranty. I checked it's over. HTC staff confirmed for me. I was TOLD by sanjev that there is warranty ... for when i went to claim they said there is no warranty left. so is this considered a fraud ? He keep saying it's not his fault that htc don't take the phone for warranty ... so .. what the hell man. I'm confused as hell. haha. help me out.

Well you can't blame he coz he sid he's not sure about the warranty for the phone in his thread. Didn't you check and reconfirm with him again during cod?

Sure bo u got problem with him ? Bought lumia 620 from him . No receipt but got warranty from nokia actaully. Untill now he responding me for other phones

He actually told me there is warranty even before dealing I confirmed with him that is why I purchase. he told me the date of purchase is at December 2012.. so supposing the phone should have one year for HTC one x and to end on December this year. The problem happened on my hand that is why i went to try to claim for warranty but it's not happening cause htc says the phone is out of warranty and requested for receipt.

Too be honest memang warranty left . I told u the exact same thing they told me that no need receipt or what's so ever. Can't refund bro cause memang not my fault too . During cod also no prob and was using the whole year and didn't have the screen prob

Yea. if its not a problem with him then I don't know what. I went to HTC service centre with my phone and card. And they said no warranty.

Please take note that Semi_Psycho and Sanjev007 are somehow related and could be the same person.
His testimonial against Sanjev007 cannot be trusted.

Hi guys first the fall sorry for what happen between me and the customer. I don't have any intent to con him or what. Its all just misunderstanding each other . Is not like i ask him to bank in money then i ffk. From the first day untill now i reply him on lowyat. and between me semi_psycho lol we not the same i have dealed with in mudah then we discuss in facebook. Yes we do related as dealer and customer. Its just the warranty matter between me and him. glad to know there is so many ppl here to help other ppl out. Well let me honestly tell u all that as my calculation the warranty still left. I can bet u 100% that im sure. I stated there the age of item was less than year . Is not hard of to change it 1 year and sell it . Htc one x pretty easy to sell. don't waste the time and effort explaining your relationship with semi_psycho. we are not interested.
just want to know how you plan to settle with TS.

already pmed him . Will go hunt for the shop and require another receipt from them

this means He will or wont go to the shop. Even if you know the shop owner or salesman still remember you, will they issue another receipt?

Please la, if no more warranty just tell the buyer la.. no need keep pusing around already. If no warranty then no warranty watever u do will just drag this longer and you will only tarnish your own reputation. Just a heads up for you / asking you to be honest now or regret later.

haha. thanks everything is settled FOR NOW. He is getting me the receipt see if can claim for warranty since it is requested by htc service centre.. So i'm waiting for now. Thanks for all the forumers help

Who knows this conversation is between who and who? Some more semi psycho was a registered member in September, and this conversation in Facebook was on May.

Even if he is not a dupe of yours, you only need to either refund or provide TS a receipt.

I guess the lesson is that you have to be intelligent to be scammer , and in this case the scammer is too dumb to be one .... lol

any update ts? because i can see he already have new dupe registered and start selling other phone.

I don't know man .. cause he said he could get me the receipt to claim for warranty. He said he would get it the next day when i requested.. Until now no respond. :S
