my G1WH staring to buat hal already... its acting weird... turning on and off continuously til the internal battery dies...
during driving the screen stays on and freezes.. dunno if it actually records or not... havent checked that yet
G1W-C internal capacitor koyak just after a few days of not using. Konon capacitor better, longer lifespan than regular batteries, but since there are days that I leave my car unattended for a few days (as little as 3 days), all the settings reset
My older dashcam that I mount to my rear of the car doesnt have such an issue.
Should have gotten the G1W-H instead.

i hope by this afternoon can get the G1W-C
I like the video quality of the G1W-C, hate the fact that it loses charge too soon.
Whenever I got a review car, my car stays idle for 3-4 days, and all my settings gone
my car is used daily so no issue with settings gone. if ur interested... ill have to make sure its working fine first... there was an issue with it previously... recently discovered that the issue may be caused by the SDCard that was in there... coz when i transfer the SDcard to my SJ4000, it wont boot... another alternative... start ur car for 10 minutes when u dont use it la...hahahhaa
already plan to give my friend
eyeing either the transcend DrivePro 100 or HP f100 next
The seller is esongdigital... Kehan is their brand... I just bought the kehan c905 and I got the email from them (@esongdigital.com). Their feedback in ebay is very good...
So if I want to install a dash cam on a car that is seldom used e.g. used every 3-4 days, then better get one with battery instead of capacitor? Unless I want to keep doing the settings everytime using the car.
Can i ask about your "battery kembang", how long have u had the K6000 (before the battery wrapped) and do u park your car under hot sun at work or at home? Just want to have an idea what to expect, if i decide to go for a battery dash cam.
That is not bad actually, especially considering the car is parked under hot sun 99% of the time. If not parked under hot sun everyday, it can probably last longer than that. Personally, I dont expect a below RM300 no-brand made-in-china dash cam to last more than 2 years anyway. If it does, then it is a bonus. Anyway, based on your input, i think i will get the battery version. It would be more practical for me.
By the way, how did you know your battery has kembang? Has the dash cam stopped functioning, and you open the casing?
