Been using it for a few months now. Mounted behind the rear view mirror too and never remove it. My car is parked under the sun everyday from 8am - 4pm. So far still no problems with heat at all.
Even when I'm driving under the hot Malaysian sun during afternoons.
My car is tinted, although I must point out that the tint is very minimal as it is factory fitted with the car. Not sure if that makes any difference
