Can someone enlighten me what is the use of 3 wire kit.
What the pros and cons?
Can i use it to Viofo A119?

Thanks.

3 wires hardwire kit is fuse tap to your car fuse box underneath the steering wheel.

Is to provide power to the dashcam when the engine starts via the ACC wire. And to power for the parking mode when the engine is off via the BATT wire. 3rd wire is just the grounding.

A119 only can use the 2 wire hardwire kit. A129 can use either 2 wires or 3 wires hardwire kit.

Heard should be this month local sellers (Kintos aka JNK, Sicurez, etc) will be getting stock.
I think cheaper too if order online
*
Oh ok.

If I order online, which fuse options should i take?

The options are:

2 PCS ATS Fuse Kit
2 PCS ATC Fuse Kit
2 PCS Mini Fuse Kit
2 PCS Micro Fuse Kit

Gonna use it for CX5

3 wire kit, i didnt proceed to purchase the 1st batch. I will wait for 2nd batch. 1st batch stock is sold out. Tentatively by early next month should have stock in hand. I will also bring in 8m rear cable for those whos really need the extra length wire.
*
Thanks for the update KIntos!! and I think will need those 8m rear cable for my car!

Pls do update us once available. TQ again.

You'll need to check which fuse your CX5 is using for the above

If proper wire length pull 5 metre should be sufficient. If need extra maybe could add extta 1 metre extension.

1. is good.

Thanks. I guess the improvement in the "pro" model is too small that is better to get the add-on instead.

5m should be enough unless you DIY until very neatly under all the plastics. Then maybe not long enough.

Should be able to power on if you use the USB car charger in the ciggie port.

Do you have another USB car charger to test with?

May I ask what is the reasonable microSD storage size for dashcam?

Thanks. Is 64Gb sufficient? Or overkill? Thanks

Depends on you. You can get a 32GB or a 64GB is good enough but don't use Sandisk Ultra.
