@bluejoey thinking of getting one dashcam for my dad. Do you think i should buy the same model back like the one i purchased before? or any new models to recommend?
guys and girls... i need some sifu advise. I got this Samsung 64GB EVO micro sd card and have used it more than a year in my dash cam. now the dashcam is telling me that my card is a low speed card.
Is it possible that my micro sd is going to die? or is it spoilt?
I have this dash cam A119 Viofo and I bought it on December 30th 2016. This problem occurs since last week and I am stucked in the Viofo logo screen. Even if I were to take out my micro sd card and switch it back on. It's still stuck at the logo screen? Any sifu here knows what I can do?
most likely firmware issue. try to update to the latest firmware...i suppose the v3.4 is the latest firmware.
btw, what brand and capacity of your sd card used with this viofo? I'm using samsung evo plus 32gb and so far so good. avoid using any sandisk brand sd card for any dashcam usage.
I tried to connect the dashcam to my computer using the cable but the computer doesnt detect the camera at all, and the camera is stuck with the viofo logo. any ideas? just tested with my micro sd card and it works perfectly. computer able to detect the card but once the card is being inserted to the camera. the computer couldnt detect the camera at all
Got another card to test? Can try to format the sd card on the computer to default then try on the A119?
alright some updates here for those users who owned the A119
This is what I did
Insert your sd card into your computer and copy the FWBA119.bin file on the root of the card Reconnect the camera to your computer and wait for the boot logo until it goes back to the camera view then it's all done !
That's what the instructions say on Viofo page for the firmware update page
Your A119 ok d?
yes it's now ok... yeah.. but the instructions asked me to follow from step 1 as i never update my firmware b4 and it doesnt work for me so i try the last step
