Later when get my D201 will try to open the A pillar cover and go thru there instead... And also be using the 3 meter mini USB cable I got from AliExpress to use with my Aukey USB charger also from AliExpress to power the dashcam... Less clutter...

You can get a hardwire kit that goes to your fuse box so you can have a spare power socket. Direct power is dangerous as the dashcam might use up all your car battery...
