Any user review here yet? smile.gif
How's the battery life and camera performance, especially compared to others high end?
*
Can't quite review the battery yet as it would not be fair since it's still in conditioning for the first 4-5 charging. And still horny with it, can't put it down at all so at ultra heavy usage, I don't think it's fair for any phone to judge the battery life at such an initial stage but at this point at over 8 hrs, I have 41%. Camera produces bright pictures in low light conditions. The pics I posted a few pages back were mostly about 50% brighter from real life scenes which were quite dark, very fast shutter speed so even a monkey can take steady photos laugh.gif I think it's quite amazing that Sony managed fast shutter speed, but bright pictures with acceptable noise. However there is a focus issue in low light. Can still get sharp pics but have to try a bit before achieving it. That's all I have for now since haven't even hit 24 hour of ownership. I'm sure in good lighting it's awesome but with the haze back today, I'm not in the mood to try it out yet. Signing off wink.gif

im using ultra. battery can easily get 5-6 hours SOT easily...but not sure z1 as im still thinking wan to get o not.

Looking forward to reading your batt feedback if you do take the plunge. I'm hoping the Z1 will have an improved battery life with a firmware update since as it is, GSMArena reports that the Ultra actually does better in the video department, which is really dumbfounding considering the rather substantial size difference in both the devices screen sizes.

So the photos aren't as bad as those reviews claim then? Coz from your shots, I think it's really quite acceptable smile.gif

xz after firmware update has white balance can adjust, so its whiter white, z1 probably have to wait firmware update for white balance adjustment? and also tap to wake feature (cant wait for this)
z1 seems to have better sunlight legibility though...xz seems to be more reflective
Power button is smaller on z1, feels easier to click on xz...

so far, i have a quirk on the casing
it wont fit at all with the magnetic dock provided.
so, the only way to use it is to take out the casing 1st, then can only charge using magnetic dock
apart from it, no major updates from me yet. gonna let it charge to 100% 1st.the docking also work with my power bank, so that is obvious i guess...

for the difference between xz and xz1, xz1 not just feel snappier, but actually faster. my colleague who owns xzu also feel the same responsive rate similar on both my xz1 and xzu.picture wise, can zoom many many times then only the picture starts to break away (pixelling).. well, that's pixel binning tech then..

later at night i'll test pictures on both xz and xz1 for reference
