i'm always wonder why the issue with the viewing angle..
it turns out that it happens to be an impromptu privacy filter. very useful if you're inside a cramped-up place (think public transport) and wanna prevent the others to read whatever it is on your screen..

as long as it does present good sunlight reading legibility, i'm ok with it..already sick with older phones where i need to put some 'shades' just to see what is actually on the screen during sunshine, glaring, hot days

Gonna spent the night transferring data from my XZ to XZ1

so far, i have a quirk on the casing
it wont fit at all with the magnetic dock provided.
so, the only way to use it is to take out the casing 1st, then can only charge using magnetic dock
apart from it, no major updates from me yet. gonna let it charge to 100% 1st.the docking also work with my power bank, so that is obvious i guess...


for the difference between xz and xz1, xz1 not just feel snappier, but actually faster. my colleague who owns xzu also feel the same responsive rate similar on both my xz1 and xzu.picture wise, can zoom many many times then only the picture starts to break away (pixelling).. well, that's pixel binning tech then..

later at night i'll test pictures on both xz and xz1 for reference

and yeah, the guide book is effing thick!

i also pre-order mine, but i do this in front of the seller, if something goes wrong, he will never get my money..
fortunately, all the test passed, so no issues with those yellowish hue etc...

i see you have XZ with you. try dialing that number code. you can see all those test menu there...
in fact, that code works with most Sony phone. tried it on my still-alive Xperia Sola, it did go to the test menu screen

i think better TS put up that code as a guide for new buyers

have you done the self testing on the phone first before taking it home?

ok..my 1st battery usage after charge full 100%, then let it draw out until 10am today....
mostly do fb browsing, using LTE to watch youtube vids (nearly 2 hour viewing,LQ mode, full screen, audio via earphone) and some spam picture taking by my colleagues (when they found out i buy new phone)
also, spamming some NFC to send out pictures to my fren phone, and it still look better on their phone since the pictures came from my Z1

btw, no STAMINA mode on, and the phone did go into alarm mode since 5.30am, so screen should be on until i turn it off by 9am. screen was also under adaptable lighting condition, and since my office was quite bright, the screen also go bright...

TAC should be the delay from the bank itself.once i tried request for TAC, delayed until the next day
