QUOTE(marauderz @ Oct 1 2013, 11:24 PM) Don't have a way to upload the 36MP shot from the phone yet. As to what it mentions you uploaded with, depends on what app your using. From Windows Phone Photos app it'll say "Windows Phone" well, i want to showoff sometimes hahaha free advertisement for nokia about the battery, it drain real quick with camera smart cam/cinema graph and games stuff...mine goes like discharge at 17% while charging at 20%. i have to close all apps, black background, xbox live, energy mode to last until night from 6am - 9pm update: this morning a got better result from 12hours-to 17hours, both under energy mode after charge. ahh, should change forum title to lumia 1020 pro shoot or lumia 1020 beginner shoot?... advise is ok, teaching is ok, sarcastic is not, but i do believe everyone is entitle to their own photo's whether it is good or not to "other".

QUOTE(Zephyr_Mage @ Oct 4 2013, 08:06 AM) Nope. i read somewhere..tht the glass is scratch resistant but the coating layer above the glass did not.1. I couldn't find any from the stores. 2. The guy at the nokia store suggested that I didn't need one. Fortunately it's barely noticeable but I'm pretty upset and pissed off. I didn't put it together with keys or anything. The only time it could come into contact with anything is when I get out of the car and I'm holding the phone and the keys together for a few seconds. Gorilla glass 3 my ass. |

at 4pm, the battery seem eating at slower rate. my battery consumption is getting better
just got back from lowyat plaza, seem the Samsung store is so crowd compare with the Nokia store. Tested the so called note 3 over there, i don't feel any fluidity, like a little lag feel when opening or between menu transaction. or probably i am to comfortable to how the wp8 feel right now... over there got SP but like always, it is overprice at rm25-35. better buy from tskhor, cheaper but better. |

QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Oct 7 2013, 02:38 AM) Nokia conquered every aspect of camera. Samsung and Apple didn't match for Nokia. 4k recording is nothing less than a gimmick. 1020 can do lossless zoom. Which other phone can do that?? Of course 920 925 928 808 can but all of it are from Nokia the best camera+best camera apps+people taking the shot....samsung/apple don't stand a chance |

QUOTE(PVCpipe @ Oct 7 2013, 05:52 PM) spot on.... i told my friend i want to buy this phone... 2 core vs 4 core...when you put side by side, you can feel the difference. lumia update is getting better and better, well about the apps and games...apps are good enough for me, while games...well, its expensive if the release is like android and ios. at first she's like, this phone only 2 core, s4 got 4, batt s4 is def better on paper... and s4 support many app, since on android... but i said im okay with it, ppl charge their phone anytime they can nowadays(laptop charger, power bank), so 3-4 hour different is not significant enough for me.... and im not into apps... i mean, the onnly app that i would use alot is whats app, gps, google map, those kinda stuff... so.. then i showed her some pic that u guys posted here, she said next time want to pinjam when she want to check in photos maps, the best |

night shot, auto on 5mpxl with no flash...anyone use apps nokia glam me function, best apps especially the dream mode. hahaha so excited, after so long with Symbian kind of weird, outside photo taken with no flash is ok but indoor room with florescent light, the image is quite bad with no flash. I kind of teruja, that even with flash on, the light doesn't reflect much on the object like n808. This post has been edited by ikram_p: Oct 8 2013, 09:07 PM |

QUOTE(red streak @ Oct 12 2013, 07:01 AM) 1. You get locked into a 24 months contract where you pay RM88 per month to them for their postpaid plan look to be expensive, better buy from direct D or superbuy..do a flexi pay than go Umobile for cheaper network. i'm going Umobile after my data plan expired, the plan look to good to be true.2. You pay RM1688 (phone) + RM700 advance payment (also for the phone, but they don't state that) when you signup for a total of RM2388 up front 3. The RM700 will slowly be credited into your celcom billing account. Meaning that RM70 is deducted from your celcom bill per month for 10 months (RM88-70 x 10 months) and then it's back to full RM88 per month. That's how I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong though |

QUOTE(kayent @ Oct 16 2013, 11:18 PM) mine shows around ~5% per hour according to battery pro app. but if heavy usage...12 hours ady kong. this is with glance mode ON and battery saver OFF. mine is also the same, around 5-6%..some apps/games if you open drain you battery faster...like real football 2013 is a battery drainer although you just open it up.i subjected the phone to heavy camera usage lately when i went travelling last week. around 1.5k pictures taken during the course of 4 days. the extra battery that comes in the camera grip does come in handy indeed will post some pictures up when free |

just back from USS, taken picture inside Spielberg studio and mummy ride, both taken w/out flash and on auto mode.. place is very very very very dark
picture quite blurry, but 1020 able to zoom and getting the lighting needed. this one, in park hotel..sun is rising, the sun flare is so strong,,how i wish the 1020 got the ND filter. This post has been edited by ikram_p: Oct 20 2013, 07:06 PM |
