I can't help but think that the post processing algo is the culprit behind the long shot-to-shot delay. Which reinforces my wish for the post processing to be optional.

I tried out the Z1's camera and was amazed how much faster it was. The image quality itself, however... tongue.gif

Good point. But is it slow because we are saving the full res image? Or is it the other way around (compressing the image into 5mp)?

The Xperia Z1 saves the 21MP image and is still buttery smooth. Is it a limitation of our dual core processors? I wouldn't be surprised if Lumia 1520 took photos much much faster. sad.gif

Something is probably broken, causing it to fail to close the shutter.
Bring it to a Nokia Care Center asap.

My phone just keeps getting injuries out of nowhere.
First hairline scratches all over that aren't really visible unless a light is shone on it from an angle. Then, an actual scratch that is visible and can be felt. And now, a SLIGHT chip on the edge of the phone's polycarbonate body.

FFUUUUuu

How could it be that my previous phone (which didn't even have Gorilla Glass) had less scratches in 2+ years than this phone in 1 month? This is just mind boggling.

Didn't apply any SP?

No and I still refuse to. I did not buy this phone to put a cloth on it and deny myself its full glory biggrin.gif

I did apply the liquid screen protector but obviously it doesn't really work.

I've come to accept the scratch on the screen, but the chip on the body is really eating me inside. I don't think there is a case out there that can protect this part though (It's right on top of the edge of the screen).

Idk bro I also menyesal back when I use 920 for not applying SP.
So many scratches in 2nd day already tons of scratches.
Gorilla Glass is good but the coating is not good I guess.
Recommend everyone to apply SP if not, brace yourself for tons of scratches.
Gorilla Glass or Corning sama saja tons of scratches.
The best one ever was iPhone 4 one though for me 2 years not even any visible scratches can be felt of seen without seeing in a light. This days everything is cheap and scratch able sleep.gif

But then you also see people complaining about dust build up around the edges of the screen protector.

Oh well, if you think about it, even if you kept the phone in mint condition, how much could you sell it for? The Lumia 920 is now selling for 900+.

LOL! My SP only RM10 but so far no dust colleting in the edges.
Good quality cheap sp, so far no scratches as well haha.

I don't know la bro that is you, I always jaga my phone everything is always nice, looks like new all the time.
I have no plans on selling my 1020 though, i'll keep it for future use. Even if I decided to get a new phone, I think i'll still use my 1020 because of the camera.

Where did you get that sp?
If it's RM10 I don't mind trying one. If I don't like it I can just tear it off. Maybe can spare me a heartache or two haha!

I hear you bro, don't think I'll be selling it too.

But what if this baby comes with a 1080p screen next year? biggrin.gif

I believe Gorilla treatment is not fully optmised for the slightly curved glass of Lumia's. I used to have a Lumia 800 and I used it without any SP; but I was extremely careful. After 9 months, it finally caught a scratch.

BTW, u should check ur pocket lol. Probably one of ur pockets has a sharp object inside.
Does the SP fit 100%? I'm still looking for one that fits.

BTW, for those who are wondering, the Nilkin SP doesn't have an exact fit.

I keep checking for sand but nothing. Guess it's just my luck sad.gif
Still can't explain the chip on the body though mad.gif

Wish they would elaborate more on their firmware updates. Feels like I'm updating without knowing what I should expect at all.
