I can't help but think that the post processing algo is the culprit behind the long shot-to-shot delay. Which reinforces my wish for the post processing to be optional.

Good point. But is it slow because we are saving the full res image? Or is it the other way around (compressing the image into 5mp)?
The Xperia Z1 saves the 21MP image and is still buttery smooth. Is it a limitation of our dual core processors? I wouldn't be surprised if Lumia 1520 took photos much much faster.  |

My phone just keeps getting injuries out of nowhere.
First hairline scratches all over that aren't really visible unless a light is shone on it from an angle. Then, an actual scratch that is visible and can be felt. And now, a SLIGHT chip on the edge of the phone's polycarbonate body. FFUUUUuu How could it be that my previous phone (which didn't even have Gorilla Glass) had less scratches in 2+ years than this phone in 1 month? This is just mind boggling. |
