I took around like 200 pics in one shot in a post-convocation photo session. Everything look alike so it's not that easy to 'spot' it out. Maybe just my problem
Thought I only have to revert to 'Smart' mode because the high-res shot was too slow for hat-throwing thingy . Shot to shot time could be very annoying some time, especially during night shot where subject is moving around.
Wah.. if you wanted full sized fast shot to shot to catch hat-throwing.. that's definetly not something for a phone camera to do. As for the normal shot delay time of the 1020... is it longer than the 920? Absolutely, I'd say a few seconds it's ok lar, even if it means I won't be taking pictures with only 1 or 2 sec delay.

Yellow color (or JKR street light) could appear very** warm in certain scenario. WB doesn't help.
Well, I can identify those scenarios, I think the yellow tint problem happens when the picture shouldn't be warm at all. But I don't see it.
why suddenly my friend's L1020 cannot open camera? suddenly crash into windows tile? has someone ever experience this kind of stuff
On your other topic you mentioned that even a hard reset couldn't fix the problem? I think there might be a hardware issue like that, you'd best take it for warranty claim.
what is the diference between jpg and dng/raw file? is much better?
and is it come with the latest update?
RAW is not necessary BETTER, RAW is better for people who have the time and knowledge to perform post processing the way they want it. For most people taking a RAW wouldn't serve any purpose other than to waste space.
does nokia will release new software that the screen will adjust accordingly if we change the shutter speed and iso?
Nokia camera will dim the preview if you drop BOTH iso and shutter from auto. Oh wait.. it doesn't. My bad.
You can tell if your picture is gonna be dark or not by looking at the exposure setting on the right most side on Nokia Camera if it's -X the picture is gonna be dark if it's +X the picture will be bright.

Bought the Otterbox for the Lumia 1020 today, I'm surprised. It doesn't make it that much bulkier, ports have quite ample clearing space, very nicely designed.
The main complain is the plastic 'screen protector' I'm still having mixed feelings about that.
What on earth did u do to get that CORNING GLASS 3 break into million pieces???? And how high did it drop from, ear/pocket/table/car???
Gorilla glass is resistant to scratches and scrapes, a common misconception is that it makes it shatter resistant, which it definetly isn't
The whole reason I got the Otterbox was that recently when I'm playing with my son he just jumps and runs around, knocking off my phone from my hands or wherever I put it. All it would take would be to impact a table corner at the right angle and it'll be dead, so I decided I needed a bumper case... and hell, might as well go for a good bumper case!
Buttons requirement significantly more strength to press though, that's a definite con, will make a video review after using it a few more days.
