FC Bayern München is the team I use 99% of the time. The other times I use Germany or any other Bundesliga team.

The key is not to go all-out press, but to cut off passing lanes. Anticipation and trying to guess what your opponent has in mind is also key. Track runners so that you don't get caught by the air-through-balls.

Since this game's crosses/finesse is overpowered, make them your number 1 priority to stop. I've had games where guys always try to run up the wings, and i stop them dead every time. They don't know what else to do.

These are my teams. Top is for online seasons, and bottom is for offline/fitness.

I play 2 games with the top team, then 1 game with the bottom team. Repeat.

Lahm alone cost more than the other 10 players on the whole team combined.

Aiming to save up for Reus to put in LM next (replace Caligiuri). Or maybe Gundogan for CDM (Replace Rode)

I have 37k at the moment all from winning titles/tournaments and going through the divisions.

Yup. Usually buy them at 250-300 a piece for normal gold and 450-500 for rare gold. With the 50% bonus I get from managers, the normal gold gives 19 games, whilst the rare gold give a massive 42 games.

I have a total of 29 normal gold managers (+1% each) and 7 rare gold managers (+3% each) = 50%

It's one of the first things I do when playing FUT. Spend a bit of coinage and time maximizing the bonus, and in the future, spend less time and coins on contracts

The patch has taken most of the fun out of FIFA 14 for me. Made it feel like FIFA 13 all over again, where pace is king. It's no longer FIFA 14, more like FIFA 13.5. They've dumbed it down for the casual people who complained.

What distinguished FIFA 14 in the first place was the weight and player momentum system. Each player felt different. You had to let go of the sprint button, and it forced a more tactical approach. My mantra was control ball first, just like how I play in real life.

Now I can just hold sprint all the time without worry. Left stick dribbling is gone. No more dancing around opponents using player body momentum to make slight turns and fool defenders.

Anyone else think the patch sucks?

Green bar is a lie. I've had games where the yellow bar is smoother than a green bar. That's why I always gamble and play yellow bars. I never play red bars though.


If you see them playing through the wings, stop them from giving the supply. Double up on their wingers by using someone from midfield and dragging him back to cover.
I've shut out many people whose game plan is just run down the wing and cross. After that, they're lost and don't know what to do.

FIFA 13: 7.5k + FREE PREMIUM GOLD PACK worth 7.5k = 15k total

FIFA 14: 15k + NO PACK = 15k total

It's the same prize, only now you can choose whether you want to keep coins or get a pack with the coins.

For people who have DC issues, are you running any torrents or other downloads? I found out that I can't run torrents while playing online, or I will get DC often.

Clubs only at night after 10pm, if 3 people online, usually we play. 2 people no point, better to jsut play co-op.

I'll only be interested in the Germans, and there's not that many of them in there. No Beckenbauer, Rummenigge or Müller for the German legends either.

I've already completed my teams, so the coins I gained are all extra coins to be used on packs. So, I opened 5 jumbo packs and the best thing I got was not a player, but a consumable.

Sold Liga BBVA manager consumable for 2.6k. Got Mandzukic too, which sold for only 2.1k

I started out with a great all-German team that costs lower than 1k per player. Solid defensively, and great in attack too. What's cheap anyway?

According to FUTHEAD, you can build the same team as mine (excluding Lahm + Reus) for only 8,850 coins. The most "expensive" ones on that team will be Sam, Boateng and Weidenfeller.
