In between my NAS and TV is a WD TV LIVE, which can play almost everything and have the ability to select which srt subtitle.
Only file kenot play is RMVB, which is ok cos my Samsung TV can play.
But WDTV Live is very old model liao, I believe there are better and even more powerful media player in the market these days.
Actually in my house have 3 WDTV live for each TV and all is connected to a NAS.
Now that 12TB NAS is almost full, I have to start searching for another model.
Latest HP microserver looks tempting.
