Just wondering, how long will it take for the mall effect to sink in? I won't expect putrajaya and cyberjaya to prosper overnight because of the mall, what other factors will determine the success?

I think it would take 2-3 years for the mall to mature and take effect. Since this is the first mega mall around this area (putrajaya, cyberjaya, sk, etc), it has a good chance to succeed. We don't have any exciting malls here at this moment.

How far cyberjaya to this mall in term of km?

Another question: how is this mall going to affect the business of existing alamanda mall? Will alamanda mall die slowly?

Damn far. Then don't think this mall will have effect or raise the property price in cyberjaya. Too far!

Imo, alamanda mall won't die but business will be affected. Ppl in putrajaya will still go to alamanda coz it is more central. Think of it as a neighborhood mall where you feel comfortable to go there & shop for essential stuff. No need to go to bigger malls where you fight for parking and the crowds.

Ioi city mall is located at the edge. People in cyberjaya will opt to go to this mall instead of alamanda. It's about the same time for me to drive to either malls and of course, I prefer to go to ioi city mall.
