I never said it was wrong to be an early adopter, just stating the facts that one is desperate enough to overpay for the phone just to be an early adopter. Well, if you felt it, then that is your problem because I was merely agreeing with the person I've replied earlier.

There is no such thing as first customer or second customer. I believe what you are referring to is early adopters. Does it even matter if you are the first to get it? Sooner or later people will start owning it too. Secondhand value? The value of the phone depreciates as soon as you pick it up from the store, just like owning a car. Simple as ABC. Doesn't mean that you've purchased the phone on the first day of launch will guarantee that the value of the phone will sustain at it's peak value.

I never judged. I was referring to those who've overpaid for the phone not those early adopters who paid RRP for it. Overpaying for a phone is what I am commenting on. And yes he took my statement wrongly because he misunderstood my statement. There is no right or wrong for one to do with their money, economically it is wrong but again, who are we to judge?

Observe that I almost always refer to "our device" and not "smartphone". Technically we should be calling our phones "device" since it is more a computer than a phone. A phone can't browse, run apps or perform compute intensive tasks. We have a computer with a radio and camera.

if no, how you gonna prove during RMA?

I recalled back, I received no receipt when i purchased s2 from them.

Those who really wanna get it may try to visit your phone seller (provided you know them personally) close to their closing time later, maybe they'll sell to you leh. haha!! Its just a thought, I'm not a phone seller

hey, I'd like to ask since so many people here wait day and night for a new phone.
My question is, how long will you spend to play with your phone once you get it? I've been thinking what will I do when I get the N3, the only answers I could come out with is...nothing!! (well, other than install all the apps you have from your existing phone and doing things I'm already able with my current phone)

Even for an S-Pen newbie (I don't own any Note devices) I don't think my play time with the phone will very long haha!!

Maybe taikor taikor can enlighten me on what you guys do with your phone, maybe I'm missing certain things haha!!

You can use Knox to hide your private matters with your phone and cats now huh I think you'll like that feature 

Wah just got phone then root, not concerned about the warranty bro?
I usually use the phone until feel bored then only root and play with custom roms, like that only got new phone feel.
Haven't read on custom roms for Note series before. Will the S-Pen functions stop working? Most roms are AOSP or AOKP without TouchWiz wan right?

I feel it's better that way (official launching on weekdays) as it can reduce buying rush on weekend. All geeks and students can buying during launcing. They don't mind rushing or queueing.
For all those who are working can always go either during weekends or night time after working hours.

Imagine if official launching on Sunday. All the geeks...students and those working class...queueing at the same time
