I went to his shop before and buy Butterfly. Service is not bad, straight away help me register warranty after pay. Also let you know what's inside the box.

He is true, no shop do that 1 on 1 exchange within a week. That you have to settle with Samsung yourself.

There is no commerce law that state 1-to-1 exchange for commodity item like mobile phone. Even Samsung MY never guarantee or state anywhere for 1-to-1 exchange within a week. It is on the reseller/Samsung goodwill.

True, even if you give the shop. They will send it to Samsung which cause longer process. Might as well directly go Samsung Service Centre.

well if no 1 on 1 exchange for defect unit within a week then u end up paying RM2k for phone without having a phone  to use and end up waiting for weeks/months for warranty claim ?? -.-

That is why you've to check thoroughly when u buy the phone. But normally manufacturer will replace it one to one to avoid any "huha" from the consumer.

In this case, you deal with manufacturer, and not the shop. Resellers do not provide this kind of VAS.

Yes of course, dealer just deal/sell phone. They are not professional who fix phone for Samsung and no right to fix yours too.
