Guys, just wondering if Maxis is offering Note 3 with FOC Gear, but only limited to MOC members, can I ask my friends who are MOC member to sign up that package, but put under my name?

Cause I plan to MNP from Digi to Maxis.

This time last minute come up with so many option....
*
of course not possible to put under your name. Even if they waive the advance payment for MOC member but if the MOC member signing up the package with a new line, not with existing Maxis line of more than 1 year old, you still need to pay full advance payment.

Forget about the MOC package coz normally need to sign up for very high monthly package. If you mobile usage is not much, not worth at all. Even though i am MOC member but i never sign up their MOC offer plan - bloody high monthly commitment. dry.gif

Gosh, if I am working in Malaysia, my commitment on bill should be around 100-200 a month. But currently I am not, so I just want to MNP to maxis and keep my main line active, and use it whenever I travel back to MY. Plus I wanted to have 2 supplementary line for my parent, so they can have free calls between each other...

From Maxis FB, they also mention there will be non MOC plans available. Perhaps I just need to be little bit more patient and see what they will offer...

Thanks for the info anyway...

If it is RM 1888 or RM 1999, I might consider grabbing one. biggrin.gif

Still thinking to use it or to sell off.

After all, I will need an extra phone... Gonna be posted to China for 3 months (will know more by this week).

guys,I think I should know more to take care of this new babe.
I've had bad experience with Samsung's stock battery due to excessive charging. I won't make such a mistakes again and I will try to preserve the battery. Basically, after the battery is full, I should not continue charging it right? Will there be any indicator when the battery is fully charged? (As in a tones to indicate)
With USB 3.0, will charging speed increases?
Any other way of efficient charging and also ways to take care of my new phone?

By eBay.com.my itself. The website, not any seller. smile.gif
My first time as well but it has a collaboration with LYN. I'm not too worried about this part.

Hoping it will get better with time. smile.gif
I bought n3 online through the digi website with the 148 plan.

Proving? Where did they do that? smile.gif

In short, DiGi's LTE is not something to be bragged about. Their infrastructure sucks.
I'm a DiGi Ambassador user, so yeah I'm not fanboy bashing them. smile.gif

I'm in their so-called LTE area and I have 2 LTE modems here. Maybe later I will just try for the sake of trying.

I doubt my SIM card can register to any DiGi LTE network.

These are the available DiG's LTE plans: http://new.digi.com.my/Page/plan/default/p...4g_lte_overview

Hi guys, i just wanted to share my experience on dealing with item.com.my / paul1978
This is exactly what has transpired, and i am not going to comment if he is or is not a reliable seller, if you are planning on dealing with him, please make your own judgement.

Last night (22/Sept) at 7.50pm, i sms him at 012-6666368 -

Me - Hi, i saw your ad on lelong, interested to get the Note 3 @ RM 2199 Black color, do you have stock ? Can i pay cash & collect at your shop at the summit tomorrow ?

item.com (This is his exact word from the SMS, no more, no less) - Left some Pls walk in to our celcom xclusive store G floor G32 Summit complex USJ infront of converse shop mon-fri 12-9/sat-sun 12-7pm pls text b4 come tq

Me - Will come over tomorrow before lunch, will text you before i come, can you please reserve one unit of black for me please ? Btw, what is the 5 free gift? Thanks.

item.com - Stylus pen car charger car holder card reader extra cable prepaid card headset choose 5 tq

Me - Ok. I will come over tomorrow, thanks.

Today (23/Sept) at 10.45am, i sms him (i took 1 day leave today... to buy note 3 from item.com.my)

Me - Hi, can i come over to your shop at 12pm to get the note 3 black ? Thanks.

item.com - Double check if any left over. only sell to preorder at the moment

Me - I thought you said got a few left last night ? Anyway please check and let me know soon, thanks.

item.com - Preorder list is more than 100 at the moment...will double check

Me (12pm) - Hi, have you check your note 3 stock yet ? Thanks.

item.com - Will double check after lunch

Me (1.30pm upon arriving at The Summit USJ) - Have you check your stock ? Hope to get from you today, i just went to cash out from atm, i am in the summit now. Thanks.

item.com - Sorry will sell on 24th or 25th only after preorder tq

Me - Ok. Never mind then, Thanks.

The above is what has transpired during our deal, sad to say that i trusted item.com.my and took a day leave to go to his shop. But i guess i will be buying from ebay deal on 25th Sept since it is technically less than 2 days from now. As a reminder, i did not buy anything from item.com.my, and i am not going to comment on the way he conduct his business, i guess everyone has their right to conduct their business in their own way. All i know is that i will not be so trusting the next time around no matter how reputable the seller is or how long the seller has been doing his business online.
So what i lost was a day leave from work, my time to travel to summit usj, some sms cost, and travelling expenses, and of course, disappointment and loss of trust.

ps : one thing is that at least item.com.my did reply my sms promptly, and not turn off the phone like other seller (from what i read from this thread, not my personal experience)

Disclaimer: certain part of sms from myself has been omitted to protect my own privacy, however all SMS from item.com.my is not modified or deleted in any way, it is exactly what he has replied me. TQ.

Thanks for sharing. Good considering point for others
