I am pretty sure that you cannot catch the phrase 'smart'. I never said it was wrong to be an early adopter, just stating the facts that one is desperate enough to overpay for the phone just to be an early adopter. Well, if you felt it, then that is your problem because I was merely agreeing with the person I've replied earlier.

There is no such thing as first customer or second customer. I believe what you are referring to is early adopters. Does it even matter if you are the first to get it? Sooner or later people will start owning it too. Secondhand value? The value of the phone depreciates as soon as you pick it up from the store, just like owning a car. Simple as ABC. Doesn't mean that you've purchased the phone on the first day of launch will guarantee that the value of the phone will sustain at it's peak value.

I'm not trying to belittle you but please improve on your understanding and reading skills. The word 'smart consumers' is a general term used by consumers who understands the value of the market and not paying stupid money just to be an early adopter. There is no wrong of being an early adopter, just the fact that paying overboard is not very 'wise' of a person since the phone will be release in a few weeks.

S800 is great BUT also depends on how the manufacturer tweak it with the firmware . Eg S800 on SGS4-LTE sucks . Someone said before S800 should get around 32k or more on Antutu ? I get only 30k+ on Antutu and the phone is nothing special then LTE version , still the same lag and bugs .

To such consumers extra 300-500 ringgit could just be a drop in the ocean only. They don't even want to think about such extra money. For me paying rm2k is just pocket change
If I like something earlier I don't mind paying a few hundred more. N I proudly still say I am a smart consumer
