New Z30 owner here. Upgrade from Z10 last week.
Bought white version... and AP set :-(

Going good so far with 10.3 OS and large screen estate!
No problem with the screen yet though

i did. basically playbook is more optimised to be paired with OS7.
i remembered z30's notifications on playbook too.
other than that i'm not too sure what else it could do cause i disconnect.
double notifications. haha tongue.gif

and oh, emails can be read from the playbook too. haha

guys, with this latest OS 10.3, have you try Blend?
I want to try but to install BB Blend at my laptop is almost impossible
Always pop up error as currently still have BB Link
not visible in control panel if want to uninstall...
Any tips out there to uninstall BB Link?

You'll have to re-download the latest BBLInk, then download the latest BBBlend, then install BBLink first, then connect it (once its connected, don't disconnect, install BBBlend)

there's this one version of BBBlend, if you install it claims to install both Link and Blend, but neither works.

Is AP sets any different from Original set?

Only thing I know is AP sets warranty is from the shops that sell it and local distributor will not honor any claim. Am I right?

Still trying to hunt for one.... vmad.gif mad.gif cry.gif GST coming and any purchase after today will be at least 6% more expensive!

AFAIK, your understanding is correct. The only difference is the warranty.
Just got myself an AP set of Z30 last week rclxms.gif

For the record, previously I used a Z10, also an AP set from DirectD. I gave it to my wife now cause her Z10 which is actually ori set from Brightstar died on her. Mine is still functioning perfectly, and both are about two years old. The only thing I've replaced on my Z10 is the battery.

bro does your phone still makes sound for noti and when tapping power button 3 times it speaks to you (screen reader mode)? If yes (like mine), I contacted BB through email and they are prepared to give warranty but have to go to their service center by our self. They give like 2 + 14 days to claim the extended warranty using the ticket they gave you.

If you are too lazy to go to their service center (like me), you could buy a new screen for less than rm240 with postage and change it. Very simple and easy procedure. Voila, the phone becomes amazing again. biggrin.gif Just for case of SoD, not one where it does not power on at all.

its a desktop app that allows you to have your blackberry's basic functionalities, like your hub, email, bbm, via your desktop. Its good if you're trying to be discreet about using your handphone.

the support for 3rd party apps is limited for now, but it should grow.

if you search z30 screen here got one seller open a thread. I bought from him too but through lelong if I'm not mistaken. Or you could buy from eBay, screen itself is cheaper but not much different when included postage fee.
