Just now during the tournement..the Penang CC who handle the tourney send their own team under FTZ. But..when their team against netcity(One of penang strongest Team) which they having some problem to counter...the marshal of tourney come rules say...another team ward around the nature creep and that Slower the spawn rate of the nature creep. And disqualify them. I wonder issit true. When a ward reveal the location of nature creep..it slower it spawn rate?

ya...the ward rules is quite annoying.....even see any little part of neutral creep = yellow card or up to marshal like...dq somethin...

In out state tourney..they still use ward like normal. I guess that ward rules is the weapon to help their own team when they facing difficulties.

this might because the smm rules is too sensitif....jus see the creep...n wasn't put the ward on the spawn point n make it canot spawn neutral creep. N marshal decisions is ...zZz

Actually every teams around should know which part of the map that they can put their wards and which part they cant. If you put wards on places where neutrals spawn, the neutral creeps really wont spawn and if this can be done legally then it will counter Holy Knight strategy.

Usually a yellow card will be awarded depending on the seriousness of the offence. I dont think ward spawning that prevent creeps should leads to disqualifying, SMM marshalls are quite profesional, maybe they did that twice, so that leads to them being dqed. (Or maybe the home team come out with all sorts of reasons that says because of the ward they are going to lose the game, this might also has some impact on the marshalls decission )

Actually when the marshalls stop them. The Netcity team ask for marshall to investigate. Their Open another Map and the ward at same position...The creep does Spawn and after being killed..it still spawn. So they tot they didnt break the rules...wanted to continue..den the marshall all discuss and make conclusion...i dun care it spawn onot..i wan disqualify u. The creep spawn slower den normal. This is great.

Actually I heard that only the head marshall has the authority to dq teams. The 2 marshalls from SMM surely doesnt look like that kind of people cause they are really good people that tried their best to avoid fussy teams. Maybe the marshall in charge are from that home team cc. Hahaha

I dont think creep will spawn slower than normal, just my 2 cents. Normally it take around 1:30 secs for neutrals to spawn. If that area is exploited with wards then it wont spawn. Although there are exception sometimes as we tested that before, anyhow, too bad the team got dqed for a minor foul. Last time during my match, my opposite team made 2 necronomicon, and all they got is just point deduction and a warning since we didnt presure the marshall to dq our opponents

the marshalls are from ftz... and it was rumored tat ftz always play dirty in tour. like disconnect.. etc

So who is in the final rounds now??

I already mention how NCT was disqualify when against FTZ team. Ward Slow down the spawn rate of Nature CREEP. You all are out.

Because..their own team lose 20+ point in 30minutes. No way to win with 10point deduction.

At first..they said...if creep can spawn nvm. So...when FTZ marshal accuse them, they on another com to prove they are innocent. But suddenly marshal change his word..creep can spawn..but slower . Bb to u all. That happen at the 30minutes.

they should remove this rules earlier, i think lots teams out there still doesn't know that you can join other states to play again even u lost earlier, maybe they only allow "some" teams to do that

this is why a cc with 1-2 teams but the clan name appear so many times and lots of clan went for revenge by going far from their places to join other states, RM100+petrol for a RM30k, RM10k, RM5k return(if win).... its worth even you keep trying and trying? just a 2nd runner up in state u can get back all your registration fees+petrol money

yeah yeah some would say join the SMM for fun and not aiming for the prize money, but definely not for those who join more than 1 times or those who spend lotsa their time in training

hmmmm about the warnet matter i think i should clearify it now Warnet originally has 4 teams Wn-SK,Wn-SKz, OMg red and Omg green... but the 2 OMg lost in KL and now they quited dota .. so warnet only has 2 teams as u guys said the other warnet teams i strongly suggest is misunderstandin and is not our warnet teams coz warnet only sponsor 2 teams ... maybe is some teams tat play in warnet and use our names but i ensure it has nothin to do wif the real Warnet teams as it is not sponsor by our cafe Rumors lead to speculation and in the end alot misunderstandin .. i hope thi would clear things up

I dont think that teams that got dqed can participate in other states prelims. This is because during Selangor prelims, Bz got dqed coz part of their members participated in previous KL prelims. The only exception now is Bz 1 that succeed in their appeal and SMM allowed them to participate again in the coming prelims. Some teams use CC names to participate although they are not sponsored by the CC, free promotion for the CC if they won the prelims, haha

yea....but jus rumor that the team get dq is friend wif marshal...

so them can join other state again by using other team name..

Btw, closing the creep spawn place is acceptable in euro n US leageu, Y not in m'sia..? but i think it oso a advantage for every participant if they find out their opponent do such thing... isnt it...?

To be honest Penang don;t have many pro teams as far as i observed and i have been to so many CCs in Penang and mostly the replays aren't even worthwhile to watch compared to the Selangor ones.

And also the NZ team ..... used to be from Clan MecX which is what i heard from my friend and now it has changed people. Though those old players are so much better compare to the new ones as i have played with them before. Sad that can't see much good games.. Looking forward for the finals.

rules to some extend is definitely annoying when ur hero is not protected by the rules, imagine if u are the hero need to use neutral creep to lv or whatsoever, then u ll definitely support the rules.
