Edited :

Ive done read from 1st page....Somehow i dont see owner talk about upgrading ICE and improve safety....

Does the SS audio system good enough? Im not saying about big twin subwoofer at trunk + poweramp etc2, what I mean is do u can comfortably have a chat while tune a small amount of spk volume? Did SS audio have a good sq? I even removed all audio parts from my current car to install at SS...

Car safety - any of you add any additional anti-theft like gps tracker/locktech? Is it necessary for a car with pushstart button to add this item?

Tq, for sharing for ipinions...So excited loan approved summo got 8k rebate + 3years free service...hehehehe

depends on the bank, some cases like mine bank didn't give 90% loan because 2013 model. And this when I got the car in April. 2.66% interest, so took it anyway from RHB.
*
First time heard got this, thanks for sharing blush.gif

QUOTE(sharpex @ Jun 6 2014, 03:05 PM)
yes. im aware of that. but already save for DP. So no need pay to bank too much.

Just ask the SA. Rebate 8k + DP 7K = RM15k

9 years loan = RM753/month

but without dp 7k, RM830 per month.
*
Cool, I was commenting because I thought you wanna squeeze the SA til 70k to reduce your d/p biggrin.gif

What are your priorities when it comes to buying a car? From my point of view, the Suprima's interior will probably not be as impressive as say a Cerato, the City and the likes. If you're more picky about a car's interior material and fitting quality, I suppose it isn't really the best choice.

What it can offer though that most cars around its price range like the Cerato cannot match is probably its handling, and by far I believe. If this is important for you, I'd say look no further. If you can contend with cars that have a relatively average/mediocre handling but better interior fitment and etc, then go for the Cerato.

P/S: Not an owner. I speak based the owners' opinion, feedbacks and others relating to the Suprima. Oh, and the FC? Don't expect it to be good when it comes to city driving. It shines when it comes to highway driving; not so much in stop-start traffic.

Cerato aint exactly 1NZFE either whistling.gif

Korean cars are not known for pretty FC figures anyway.

Guys, do u all satisfy with your Suprima? I plan to buy Kia Cerato, but I heard Suprima got good discount + free service. So now my mind kinda swift a bit to Suprima. Overall do u guys satisfy with the car? I heard the FC & NVH for Suprima is not so good. Is it true?
*
Pick Cerato if you mind the Proton badge. Suprima have quality issues ie, rattling, tailgate that is difficult to open, not-so-stellar NVH, poor interior fitment etc....What mitigate these shortcomings is the cost of ownership: not just the price of the car is cheaper, the spare parts are cheaper and better availability, and there are Proton SCs anywhere.

But if you want a nice looking car and don't mind so much on performance and handling, Cerato it is. But, buying either car you will still have to suffer the same question from relatives and friends "WHY U NO BUY VIOSS???" rclxms.gif

is its handling better than preve?

If all things being equal, hatchbacks will always handle better than sedan.

But preve r3 race car is faster than suprima r3 race car.  hmm.gif

Slightly, and that's due to the Suprima racer still under development at that time

also note the driver's comment

QUOTE
(00)’: Is there any major difference between the Suprima S and the Preve?

James: Mechanically, the Suprima S should be better due to the weight distribution as it is a mid-sized hatch, instead of having a boot in the rear.

Like I said, if all things being equal. I suppose both racers will have some difference between each other from tuning to engine output, so regardless which one is faster, it is not a fair comparison.

Achilles 2233 and Corsa 2233 have the exact same tread design, but what I heard is that they have different rubber compound.

Suprima S uses Achilles
