Guys, I feel very lucky.. I got 2013 Suprima S with 5k rebate and additional 2.5k discount from SA... plus my dealer didn't manage to register my Suprima S on 31st March.. so He register my Suprima S on 1st April... so according to him, I got covered by 3 years free service from proton... so I got both last month and current promotion...
just wondering the 3 years free service applicable to labour fees only or both labour and parts or certain parts?
Currently waiting info from him (SA) either proton will sent the voucher or no need voucher (register in system).

chasis number cannot tell you is showroom unit or test drive unit .


usually all dealer /branch will have test unit for suprima premium (proton force dealer must register )

make sure u note down the chassis no. of the showroom n test drive unit @ that particular dealer la.. its readily available on the plate on the drivers door..

Suprima tint is safety tint or normal tint?

if u got the showroom unit, ask for more discount... lol..
if got test drive car, ask for price like pre-owned..

Think you are one of the first owners in the forum. What do you think of the ecotint? Did you add on additional layer or replace? What is the general view for all on safety tint? Some accessories owners seem to tell me its auta.

No problem so far with ecotint. I did not put any additional layer on it. Afraid if too much layers, cannot detect smart tag. It can block 97% or was it 99% UV is good enough for me.

I don't see the need to spend another 2k to replace with a V-kool tint.

I hated the tint because it was too dark for me while driving in the rain or at night. Most likely, my eyes are the problem, but it still meant that I had to get the tint replaced to silver colour, just so I could see more clearly while driving. I like the silver against my red SS better too. The tint that came with it sometimes looked green, which is too garish with a red car, IMO. I wouldn't have replaced it if it wasn't for the fact that my visibility was bad in rain and at night, though.

guys, want to ask, my SS HU Navi system got problem, it showed "no maps found... blah... blah... blah..." when I try to open the navi apps. even already insert the microSD card in the microSD card slot.. my HU software version : 7.26 and I try to update my maps using lokatoo installer and successful but still navi show the same error.. how to deal with it?Send to SC will be my last resort.. any solution without send my SS to SC or CoSE? btw my microSD card no. P20XX
