QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 24 2013, 08:41 PM) You can root your phone. There's no problem on rooting. So if it is enforcing, even USB Jig cannot reset counter while the permissive mode allow USB Jig to reset the counter? The problem is with the Knox warranty flag. When all on stock firmware it show 0x0. Once you root or try to flash anything..the warranty flag will increase to 0x1. At this moment there's no way to reset that warranty flag back to 0x0. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 24 2013, 09:18 PM) My S4 still on permissive status and it been flash with stock firmware at service centre. And my flag count already 0x30..lolz Thanks bro for all your info here!! In other word..it doesn't matter your phone on permissive or enforcing status. All I know while in permissive status..I can still mix and match the roms..kernel and modem. Maybe..just maybe when it's on enforcing mode you can't even change that after you flash custom roms or kernel. And no...usb jig or TriangleAway won't effect that warranty flag. |

For Flashing Omega 13.1
Regarding flashing modems with Odin. Use the file 'GSM_Modem_XXUEMJ5_and_LTE_Modem_XXUBMH1.tar' 1. Open Odin (3.04 or 3.07) 2. Untick 'Auto Reboot' 3. Select the .tar-file in PHONE 4. Shut down phone 5. Start phone in Download mode (Power + Vol down) 6. Connect phone 7. Press Start in Odin 8. When flashing ends, wait until the message box changes from RESET!(Blue) to PASS!(Green) This takes about 2 minutes. If you don't wait for this, the result is more random.... 9. Unplug your phone and restart 10. Flash as usual 11. Enjoy Omega 13.1 4.3 |
